Deck discussion for I Don't Need These Cards

Browse
Enchantment, 2UU (4)
{2}{U}{U}: Look at the top five cards of your library and put one of them into your hand. REMOVE the rest from the game.

Soldevi Digger
Artifact, 2 (2)
{2}: Put the top card of your GRAVEYARD on the bottom of your library.

i don't see "Combo: Browse and Soldevi Digger for infinite cards". I see 4 cards being removed from the game for 4 mana and 1 card from the graveyard being put at the bottom of the library for 2 mana.
If you do this you will remove your deck from the game, not draw infinite cards.

It DOES work, trust me. I've lost to it. The idea is to make it so your opponent gets stuck and then either gets decked or is stomped by little soldiers and factory workers.

Some cards to update this might be Path to Exile in place of the Swords to Plowshares. Also adding Teramorphic Expanse in order to get the lands needed. Unfortunately Cancels are the new expensive replacement for Counterspells

I don't get the combo either, but am pretty interested in the mechanics if you can further elaborate plse. Even if you were to pull a palinchron combo, or some other means of producing infinite mana to generate your combo (though, the likely hood of using 2 combos together is near impossible), I see you decking yourself after about 10 draw sequences. You could have a massive deck to compensate, but that would make it harder to pull off the combo(s).

I understand the part about you drawing more than 7 cards and having to discard, but that step happens at end of turn and an infinite combo usually dissolves at that point.

Infinite cards is a bad description I suppose due to multiple meanings, but the concept of the deck should be pretty obvious.

Anyways, after depleting the main deck with browse cards in the graveyard can be recycled as needed with browse. Browse can also be used to further trim down the cards left over as needed.

The basic idea was to have enough drawing power to get all the counterspell and destruction needed to lock down the opponent. Then, recycle everything as needed with the digger to deck, kill, or bore your opponent into submission.

This worked rather well in standard format at the time. Not this particular version of the deck though.

lol. returning magic player here but the browse-digger combo ROCKS (or did when I played at least).

I played it with homarid spawning bed....recycling walls of air for 3 1/1 homarid tokens with an endless amount of counterspells :)

lovely
