Thanks for your input. I too am a fan of only have 60 cards in a deck but im trying to find ways to lower this deck down. I must agree with you on Cellar Door it does cost a little much for a 2/2 creature. I also do agree with you on Curse of the Bloody Tome ill take out 2 of them and replace them with Trepanation Blades. Thanks for the comment.

Maybe for more creature power i would recommend Carnophage a 2/2 one mana drop or from the Innistrad expansion Walking Corpse or Diregraf Ghoul, and Ghoulraiser.

This deck is kind of all over the place i understand your idea behind the deck by sacrificing your skeleton but you need to go through your cards and actually keep what helps and remove what doesnt. That is just my thought on the matter though its really up to you if the deck works than it works. Feel free to go check out my Vampire deck called The Vampire Diaries

Sorry it was supposed to be lower, i moved Spreading Seas to the Sideboard but forgot to take it out of the Mainboard, my decks usually run 60-66. If you check out my other decks you will notice that.

Not a bad illusion deck, got my like.

But for some suggestions id recommend bumping your Grand Architect to 4, bumping up your Lord of the Unreal to 4, maybe adding in 3 or 4 Phantasmal Bears, bumping your Phantasmal Image to 4, removing Frost Titan, clone, and Aether Adept. Maybe move Frost Titan into the sideboard if your set on it though.

Mind Control is not a bad card but im personally not fond of it myself. For the artifacts id remove Precursor Golem, Spined Thopter, and Porcelain Legionnairre. Steel Hellkite is a great card such a game changer!! Maybe check into Wurmcoil Engine that is a nasty card to include in an illusion deck its hard to deal with. Maybe check into Adaptive Automaton it could really benefit this deck out!

For spells maybe look into Negate, Counterspell, Redirect, Spell Pierce just to name a few.

I also run an illusion deck if you would like to check it out and comment on it.

This is a pretty good deck i like the idea you have, vampires are always fun to play with.

My recommendations for this deck would be to take out Guul Draz Vampire and Bloodlord of Vaasgoth, if your just running one of them than its not really worth doing just takes up space if anything. Cards i recommend could be Basilisk Collar and equipping it to Vampire Hexmage: a first strike, lifelink, deathtouch creature is just torture and can easily add creatures to the graveyard to boost creatures with blade of the bloodchief. Im personally not to fond of Vampire Lacerator but since you are gaining life do to your Kalastria Highborn and Nighthawk its not that bad.

Other cards i recommend maybe looking into are Vampire Nocturnus, Child of Night, Vampire's Bite, Feast of Blood, and Urge to Feed. Urge to feed can easily boost your creatures like crazy!! Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. You may tap any number of untapped vampire creatures you control. If you do put a +1/+1 counter on them. Just picture the damage you could do with that card, to boost your creatures with counters and your vampire with Blade of Bloodchief gets +3/+3 counters at once!

I run vampire decks also if you would like to check it out and feel free to comment on it.

Not a bad deck at all, i rather enjoy it you got some nice twists in there from other vampire decks. I personally dont like Falkenrath Marauders just to expensive to cast but than again its balance by its abilities once it comes onto the field. I was wondering why you dont have Vampire's Bite or Vampiric Fury, Feast of Blood, and Urge to Feed for spells, and Blade of the Bloodchief, and Basilisk Collar just some things to look into.

I agree with PikminSlayer the adaptive automatons look nice with the ability but a Vampire deck should run smoothly enough without the includence of creatures like that. It seems like you want your deck to run Innistrad creatures but maybe add in Gatekeeper of Malakir its a nice creature with a nice kicker. Vampire Nighthawk might be a suggestion its a great card in my opinion one of the best vampire cards out there.

Well those are just some things i thought you could look into that might help but its up to you, but other than that your deck is really nice. Feel free to check out my deck if you like it happens to be called the same as yours.

I would put in redirect but i currently dont have the card right now and dont have money funds at the moment to buy it as i quit my job. I personally find that 3 Phantasmal Dragons is enough in this deck and the counterspell i find is the best counter in blue history 2 blue mana to counter target spell just doesnt get any better than that. And thank you for the comment ill think about your suggestion and test it out eventually.

It could work if you have mana ramps like Dark Rituals for black mana, and Geosurge's or Pyretic Ritual's for red mana.

Not a bad illusion deck you got my like.

I personally would recommend taking out Archmage Ascension it just doesnt work in this deck same with Howling Mine. You shouldnt need to draw cards if you make an Illusion deck correctly it should be nicely balanced. I do personally love Spreading Seas because if used right can really mess an opponents field. But its more of a side board card i think.

Ok first of all an Illusion deck just aint an Illusion deck without Lord of the Unreal i would recommend 4 of them in this deck. Maybe even add in Grand Architect it bumps up your blue creatures. I would recommend adding in 4 Phantasmal Bears and 3 or 4 Phantasmal Dragons. I would also add in Phantasmal Image you can copy your Lord of The Unreal.

For Lands id recommend bumping it down to 20 you dont need 24 you would pull lands over and over you lose a good chance pulling creatures and spells.

For spells i recommend Redirect, Mana Leak espcially!!, Spell Pierce, Meddle, Counterspell just to name a few. Id also recommend Preordains, and Ponders if your looking for that draw power or even Jace Beleren if you can get your hands on him.

Those are my ideas feel free to take them or leave them.

I run an illusion deck also its called Realm of the Illusions:

Feel free to comment on it about what you think what i should take out etc. and like it. Comment on my other decks The Vampire Diaries, and Vampire's Decietful Nature.

Not a bad deck you got my like, but im going to offer my opinions on the deck feel free to follow or disregard them. Illusion deck is a fast paced crush your opponent quickly.

I would recommend taking out crystal ball and replacing it with wither Preordains, or Ponders, or even Jace Belerens for draw power. Mindslaver is not a bad card it would totally catch your opponents off guard for sure but i just dont recommend it in this deck. I would also recommend taking out anything that is not an illusion.

I would take out Phantom Beast and replace it with Phantasmal Dragon. I would run 3 or 4 dragons.
I would also add in 4 Phantasmal Bears. I would also add in Lord of the Unreal because if you dont have it your illusion deck just aint working. Maybe even add in Grand Architect it will bump up your blue creatures. I would also add in Phantasmal Image it could be a HUGE! help.

Mind Control is not a bad card i would leave it for now it can help in the long run.

For your lands i would take out Halimar Depths and replace that for Ponder since they do the same thing and if you didnt get good cards you can shuffle your library instead.

For spells Forsee is ok costs 4 i dont recommend it and you only run one so id just take it and replace it with Preordains or Ponders. Same with Deprive im not to fond of returning a land to the hand to counter a spell and you only run one so id just take it out. Into the Roil is good you can draw a card and kick a monster back to the hand id leave it the way it is. Id take out Essence Scatter also. Twincast is a nice twist but the only bad thing is..is that it doesnt counter the spell just copy it so your opponent can still affect your creature/spell. I personally love Redirect it can really mess with your opponent the only reason i dont have it in my deck is because i only have 1 copy i need 3 more.

For spell addition id recommend 3 or even 4 Mana Leaks, Spell Pierce, or bumping up Redirect, or adding in Meddle or Counterspell.

Well thats my thoughts for you feel free to take or leave them.

Also please check out my illusion deck if you want and click the like button if you do. Read the comments on the top to see how the cards work within my deck. Also look at my other decks The Vamire Diaries, and Vampire's Decietful Nature and comment on them to.

Well first of all i recommend taking out Phantasmal Abomination, the Sphinx of Magosi, Phantom Beast, Stormtide Leviathan and the walls. Add 2 more Lord of the Unreal's, 1 Phantasmal Bear, maybe even 1 more Phantasmal Dragon maybe even add in some Grand Architect it would bump your illusions and you can play your Empire cards from your hand even though i dont recommend them in your deck anyways. I would recommend taking out Boomerang since you already have 4 Unsummons in and they do they same thing and cost more. Maybe add Phantom Warrior a 2/2 Illusion that is unblockable. Also maybe check out Phantasmal Image this could really help the deck out. Add some Mana Leaks, Spell Pierce and your really set on Diminish id recommend Turn To Frog yes it costs more but they become a 1/1 and lose all abilities where Diminish cant do that.

Just some food for though, i run an illusion deck called Realm of the Illusions and feel free to comment with your ideas on my deck what could work or do better and my other decks also The Vampire Diaries, and Vampire's Decietful Nature.

Great deck its simple, straight to the point. I like the inclusion of Mindshrieker it can definately catch an opponent off guard and you can keep paying its cost until you find a card you like.

I have an illusion deck if you want to check it out and offer your advice its called Realm Of The Illusions.

Nice deck with the inclusion of the Innistrad, i bought a whole box of boosters and waiting for them to come into the mail. I have a Vampire Deck called The Vampire Diaries. But im going to make a totally new seperate deck and make it B/R and use some of the new cards. Its an overall good deck you have here but id recommend some removal cards like Doom Blade, Go For The Throat, Feast of Blood, Victim of Night all vampire related spells. I also recommend Blade of the Bloodchief which can seriously pump up your vampires, maybe include Vampire's bite to give your creature +3/0 and lifelink if it was kicked? Just some ideas feel free to check my deck out.
