When I designed this deck, with eldrazi in mind, I wanted to get eldrazi out as fast as i could and I did this by getting mana from all 3 sources. Artifacts, land and mana producing creatures. Magic is like roulette. It is a game of 3rds. This deck runs great but I am used to people saying different until we play.

Go to http://www.mtgdeckbuilder.net and choose "One to rule them all" and test it for yourself. The Howling Mine and Font of Mythos and the fast mana make the deck run great but test it at my other deck builder site that actually allows you to test the decks and you will see.

Angus 02 have you really looked at what this deck does. Tell me what happens when you put out the Mycosynth Lattice and Leonin Elder? Or Mycosynth Lattice with the Darksteel Juggernaut? and throw in the true conviction with that combo and look out! or Mycosynth Lattice with Tolarian Academy? or Mycosynth Lattice with Metalworker?

Actually, this is the deck that I dominate with in our group. We play with a 120 min. card deck but this deck runs so fast and smooth that it beats 60 card decks as well. This deck does so many different things. It can, with consistence, put out Eldrazi as early as round 2, it gains massive life, it has indestructibles, oh and it puts out super fast mana.
