NEED OPINIONS!!!

Main Deck (62 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

this is a standard landfall deck that i made from cards from my collection. Its not the standard deck i hope to be competing with in the future but i made this so i could start going to some local tournaments. Obviously it seems to be missing multiples of cards but that is because i made it from booster packs and stuff. Im too cheap to order all those expenxive cards (although i will be doing that eventually with my standard blue and white control) This deck is just to fill in until that day. What i want to know is if this deck would be too embarassing to show up to a local tournament with or if it will get the job done until then. Please leave your opinion of whether or not i should enter with it or not. thanks for any help! : )

Deck discussion for NEED OPINIONS!!!

YOu need to get more of the key cards, you said it was built using just your collection, so I am assuming you dont have everything you want right?

I guess you could play this, there is NOTHING wrong with going to events without a deck. It helps build confidence, skill, and it lets you see what others in your area play so you can build against what is most common in your area.

Based on my limited knowledge of tourney/1v1 play, I think you've got a pretty solid deck. Obviously the multiples are missing, but every card you have in here is solid at worst.

PS - Living Tsunami is AWESOME! I've never seen it before.

You could always play cards from the Alara set with this deck like: Gift of the gargantuan and maybe one of the Paronamas for land searching.

It depends on how this deck works the first time you play it.
If you feel that your creatures are coming out too slowly you'll need to get creatures with low mana cost or creature search cards.

Btw don't worry about having a different deck from others in a tournament don't forget not all combos are easy to find or to understand.

Being original just shows how open minded you are to the possibilities when it comes to deck building even when limited to the standard format.

Its off and on. If all goes well and i get a creature (i need to put more in I've concluded) it can do a hefty amount of damage in one turn. Sometimes like 15 or something ridiculous. Othertimes i just end up getting crap. thanks for checking in on it though!

Yup. That's where the copies come in. I found a sweet land for you. It's not standard, but it's baller. Undiscovered Paradise.

I know, right? I just put it in my Landfall deck that uses Overlaid Terrain and Planar Birth. It's STUPID. As in 8 4/4's and 16 mana to play with in turn 8 or 9.

From what i see this is a solid deck, while your sources for getting cards have been limited, you have created a deck in which you seem to have all the necessities (Good mana curve, strong creatures, and you seem to have stuck to the landfall theme very well). Your lands seem a bit jumbled, but then again i'm no fan of 3 color decks.

Overall you have done a superb job on building this deck, you have the talent of deck building.

I'm going to rate you high because so many people rate decks low because they fail to see the idea behind a deck, most of the time it's newer players that rate decks low.

Good Deck A+
