Deck Description

the idea is to either polymorph him into play, or transmute him into play as quickly as possible. plenty of rearanging cards and search to try and pull it off. also another plan is to get other big creauters into your graveyard with the corpse guy and bring them back rise from the grave. its standard and relatively budget. im trying to come up with ideas that arent the typical "jund" or "vampire decks" that are dominating the standard format now. i cant stand how everything is the same. its slow prob right now and i really want to make it faster. thanks for any help! : ) i also need to slim it down.

Deck discussion for trying to get a fast darksteel guy out. help

I don't think Polymorph is the way you want to go. I'd go with Tinker-like spells. Aetherplasm is also a great way to get fatties out for cheap. You might also want t have more than 2 Darkies in the deck, just in case your search and rearrange doesn't come u the way it needs to.

With that out of the way, what do you plan on doing with him? An 11/11 is cool, but he'll probably be your only creature with any kind of oomph. You might try Gigadrowse (if you're going Extended) or some way to make him hard or impossible to block.

im actually going standard. i wanted to try and make an idea that wasn't the typical (now just really freakin annoying) decks that are dominating standard right now. EVERYTHING IS THE SAME. i wanted to do something different. i would LOVE to put your suggestions in. i cant though : ( ive playtested it on the workstation though. as i thought, it was really slow, but once i got going it was really fun.

I think you should just buld a huge green mana deck and throw four in. It sounds to simple, yet it's a really powerful deck, with Llanowar Druis, Llanowar Elves, Garruk Wildspeaker, and Harrows it's so easy to get out. Than just throw in four Howl of the night pack, and four Overruns to ensure your win.

deathrender is quite good for getting the collosus out from your hand, stick it on something cheap and sacrifice it or suicide charge it t get your big gun out as a 13/13 this time.
