Deck Description

Here is a blue deck I have been putting together for casual play with friends. The idea was to build a solid blue counter deck on a budget. Any input is welcome.

Deck discussion for Classic Blue Experiment

Just a warning because you said you wanted it to be on a budget..... The swords in your sideboard are not cheap. The four of them cost about twice what your mid deck total is...

Good point, I will be dropping them.

If you want to use one of the swords and don't feel like ponying up for a 40$ price tag, why not try Sword of Body and Mind? It'll give you protection from blue and green, mills the opponent 10 when it hits and gives you a bonus wolf. Not bad effects for if you're running blue, in my opinion.

Also, boomerang is basically unsummon with a bit of added bang. Return anything, not just a creature. Costs one more blue, but it's cost money wise is still low. Maybe look into that and run that if you want?

I think I am better off dropping the equipment all together. As far as the unsummons go I figured they would come in handy against aggro decks. Into the Roil basically covers the main usage of boomerang.
