Deck Description

Revolves around elf combos, mana ramp, and pumping up huge creatures. My main inspiration was the Timberwatch Elf and Ambush Commander, because those can combine for some NASTY combos.

ADVICE ENCOURAGED! Not an experienced magic player.

How to Play

In the beginning of the game, cards like Arbor Elf and Rampant Growth will accelerate your mana and will enable you to get out the big guns quickly. Then you can get out your Market Festivals, and now your Arbor Elves can enable you to tap for 6 mana off of ONE forest. Not very threatening at first, but then you get out a Copperhorn Scout or Seedborn Muse and suddenly you can conveniently attack every turn without risking leaving yourself open to be attacked. Timberwatch Elf can buff up your attacks, and with the Copperhorn Scout you can tap it twice in one turn to give it +2X/+2X. Now once your mana is up, you can play huge cards like Verdant Force, Bellowing Tanglewurm, Terra Stomper, Soul of Zendikar, and Primordial Hydra. Bring out Ambush Commander, and now you have ~10 elves on the field, allowing you to use Timberwatch Elf to add 20 onto your Terra Stomper, swinging for 28/28 trample. Garruk Wildspeaker helps with mana ramp, and with all of those elves out, Nissa Revane can give you 20 life in one turn. All of these combos add up to huge swings fairly early in the game and taking out your opponent with two 15/15 tramples. This isn't even to mention Primeval Bounty. I have been playing this deck for about a month and a half now and I absolutely love it.
