Well his deck is more defensive and basically stops the opponent from getting any decent attack going on, then just abusing that in a few ways. If you were wondering how mine wins its a bit more aggressive, doing enough damage to kill and maim until you get sovreigns of lost alara out...then shit gets hectic because you can just pull out Eldrazi Conscription and win shit.
i would add some akrasan squire to your deck but otherwise looks good. Oh and how you win is really easy... lets say u get 1 pridemage 1 knotvine 1noble hierch and 1 rafiq if u atk with the knotvine thats 16 damage he can deal and it kepts going up with the more exalted to get on the field :) and u can easily give him flying with enchantments but for my deck i prefer using distortion strike :D
