Deck Description

More interesting mono-colored decks, and even more interesting, during the Ravnica Block! WHY? Because why not? Mono-colored decks still can be good, and I still want to make those kind of decks since it doesn't require shock lands (even though there's chapels in the deck, I can still afford that).

So after my friend made a really nice Bant Midrange:

I decided "Hey, maybe I should make my own midrange-kind of deck!" I first thought Esper Midrange, then maybe that was a little weird. So then, of course, Mono-white Midrange came up, and to tell you guys the truth, there's a lot of cards that white can use as midrange.

How to Play

Well no creative shenanigans, it's midrange. You just go against aggro, which I'll love doing good against it, and then set up and swing. There are some really nice cards in here as I mentioned before.

With all the humans in here, Champion of the Parish is perfect in here because it can eventually reach a 4/4 and then get ready for some good stuff.

With Doomed Traveler and Elite Inquisitor in here, they can not only serve as more +1/+1 counters for Champion of the Parish, but they have their uses. Doomed Traveler can make 1/1 flying spirits when dead, and Elite Inquisitor has useful abilities such as First Strike and Vigilance. Not to mention protection from Vampires, Werewolves, and Zombies, which I'll rarely need, but still could be useful.

Angel of Jubilation pretty much made the deck here, as it not only powers up my White guys, but stops all sacrificing spells, which I know it only negates ones as a cost, but still very useful.

You know, when you really think about Angel of Jubilation, she really is racist, don't you think so?

With absolutely no multi-colored permanents in my deck, it is only natural to mainboard 4 Renounce the Guilds. Seriously, during the Ravnica block, this is really nice in here with other people running not just multi-colored creatures, but enchantments as well, such as maybe Legion's Initiative (well, when it's actually released. I think Dragon's Maze is coming out tomorrow.)

And we also have our regular removal like Oblivion Ring, and apparently Banishing Stroke. Why? Has miracle and can get rid of almost anything like an enchantment.

There's also Lingering Souls in here for more creatures in the deck, and trust me, you're going to be playing a lot of these little guys, especially with Geist-Honored Monk in here. This is also why I run 3 chapels.

And of course, sideboard is pretty regular.

So alright guys, that's the deck, I hope you liked it, so please comment and I hope you have a fine day today!

The Bant Midrange I was at earlier, I playtested against it and they're both pretty equal in power and they're pretty good.
