Deck Description

So after my message about utter rage against the aggro decks, I calmed myself down a little, and made an actual deck again. Only this time, this won't be some typical Junk Reanimator. Oh no it won't.....

The guy who first commented on my Aggro decks message said:

" I also understand your hatred for aggro, i dislike the archetype as well. it can occasionally be broken, but is not as format defining as a more broken card like thragtusk, that can be splashed for with only 1 g in mana cost, and is suitable in any deck, a card that like many, stops aggro dead in its tracks."

The guy inspired me, to make a Junk Reanimator to perfectly put Thragtusk to it's last uses before it cycles out.

How to Play

You see, the goal of the deck is to....

COMPLETELY ABUSE THRAGTUSK ALL THE F&@K YOU WANT!!!!!!!!

You name it, Restoration Angel, Unburial Rites, and even f**king Undying Evil are here to constantly play Thragtusk over and over and over and over and OVER! You gain....so much life....your opponents are nearly hopeless.

Watch those aggro decks cry with an utter BEATING FROM HELL!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAH Oh sorry, was I supposed to calm down after last time?

well TOO BAD, I'M GONNA SPAM MY MOTHER-F**KING THRAGTUSK ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE!!!!

Let's see, play a Thragtusk, gain 5 life, hehehe....

Oh you killed my Thragtusk? NEXT TURN! Unburial Rites Thragtusk, I gain 5 life!

Oh were you trying to kill Thragtusk? UNDYING EVIL YOU CAN'T F**KING TRY!!!!!

Try all you want Naya Blitz........but there is no stopping me this time! GO TO HELL YOU SENSELESS-

Oh..........awww......It was all a dream.........I don't have the deck in real life.......would've been nice if I did...............

Be sure to like and comment! :D

Deck discussion for The Last of Fagtusk . . .

Once again I'm going to try to be the voice of reason:
Thragtusk is NOT broken. When it comes to magic, 99.9% of the time someone says something is broken the really just aren't experienced enough with the game to understand why it isn't.
1) Thragtusk is slightly undercosted because wizards wants standard to become a creature based, midrange-y format.
2) Thragtusk only has 1 green symbol on purpose- to make it easily splashable (that was Interntional!).
- The reason he is so easily splashable is because of the lifegain and solid blocking, he singlehandedly made a lot of midrange and slow decks possible because of the crazy stabilization he provides.
3) Aggro can still beat abusive thragtusks. A few months ago I was playing BW Zombies in standard, and I won a game after my opponent gained life from Thragtusk 5 times!.

Ultimately, things aren't broken, and there is not end-all be-all to stopping an archetype.

Btw the deck isn't bad, just try throwing in a Craterhoof or Griselbrand to help you close out games.

raginggoblin, I know what you said last time, just saying that. The part where you said ALL things are not broken, yeah, I got that (Well perhaps Jace, The Mind Sculptor IS ACTUALLY broken, but still).

Well I do agree with you now that things aren't broken, can I just say they're really good unlike the others?

BTW, thanks for the advice! I'll think about Craterhoof.

Of course there is a quality striation among cards, and some will be better than others. I remember when I first started playing I thought Massacre Wurm was the most broken card ever, because the decks I played were creature based and I didn't know about good counter magic or removal. When I said things aren't broken or OP, I was referring to current cards; there are several early cards in magic that can easily be considered broken (e.g. the power nine).

I just want everyone to take a more positive outlook on the game. Rather than being critical and negative about good cards, instead think about different ways you can either beat them, or use them yourself! Magic is a game and we should work to approach everything with a positive and constructive outlook.

That wouldn't be a bad choice, but I don't know. Puting in an artifact just seems too.........neh.
