Deck Description

The challenge was to make any Standard-legal deck that abuses the Sundial/Vat combo. The deck is pretty straightfoward, but is probably going to be very difficult to play due to mana requirement conflicts.

There are a large number of combos to go with this. Such exist as nearly any creature in the deck pairs up nicely with Champion of the Parish, especially more Parishes. Bringing back Zealous Conscripts could be incredibly rage-inducing, getting control over Planeswalkers on turn 5. If the game drags out for far too long, just bring in a Wurmcoil and keep making tokens!

I chose the remainder of the cards to have some form of combo with Sundial too, taking the form of Seance and Sudden Disappearance. You can pretty much go for lethal if you can play Disappearance without being countered, and if you get a dread feeling that they're running Fog (or anything like it) you can just wait a turn and use Sundial. Seance fits in well too if you don't have the mana for the Vat and/or want another creature.

Deck discussion for Deck Challenge: Mimic Vat + Sundial

I like the complection, but U need 2-3 more lands...the mana curve is a little bit too high... Instead of "Sudden Disappearance", use "Restoration Angel"... Against a deck, that is good at control, U won't have many creatures on the battlefield anyway... so it's better....

My Titan deck has made front page!! :) ... Comment & like, if U haven't yet: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=336811

Sudden Disappearance is to be used with Sundial of the Infinite for a one sided board wipe of all nonland permanents. It nabs their Walkers too.
