From my understanding of how sundial works, is that it goes to you end step. So you have to do all end of turn triggers like ball lightning.

Yeah, ball lightning doesn't work. I just like Ball Lightning is all. Hellspark, Spark, and Elemental Appeal do work.

If you end the turn, don't you skip your end step? I feel like final fortune would just immediately start your turn over again, and if your timing is good, you never would hit your end step..

Actually everything does work but Blistering Firecat. The ending phase has two steps: "end step" and "cleanup." Sundial moves straight to the Cleanup Step, skipping the End Step part.....

Yes, mymobbsdeep. At that point it's pointless to even go on if they don't have a response.

I'm pretty sure Blistering Firecat and Ball Lightning don't work. It needs to specify what end step. Ex: beginning of the next end step.

you can only discard down to your handsize on the cleanup step meaning that anything that would go away at the begining of end step would stay.

ball lightning stays out since it's not the begining of the end step it skips to. it skips right to the cleanup step where you would discard. no need to sacrifice.

refiper, Ball Lightning and Blistering Firecat would stay until the next end step because it triggers each and every end step.

ball lightning does work but the effect of final fortune still makes you lose. it states that at the end of the turn you lose. so from the technical stateing of the card you would still lose since the turn ended still.

if you end the turn while something is on the stack everything that was on the stack is removed from the game... thus if you use your sundial when the sacrifice trigger gets on the stack, it is removed so you dont need to sacrifice it the same goes for the final fortune when the losing effect gets on the stack, you end the turn thus you don't lose it is explained a little better on the instant "Time Stop"

refiper, everything that was on the stack including losing the game is removed when you use the Sundial. So that effect would not trigger causing infinite turn.

the way it works is that he puts final fortune on isochron scepter so he can cast it every single turn. when he activates the isochron scepter, final fortune goes on the stack and he lets it resolve. he plays his second turn and at the end of it when he enters is end of turn phase there is an end of turn steps he has to go trough which is basically where he would lose the game because the effect from final fortune of losing the turn "goes" on the stack. it is a that moment that he needs to activate the sundial permitting him to not lose due to the effect of final fortue

It was on my list but it was ultimately cut from the deck.

why not play fling to be able to maximize your creatures?

I should. In case I'm bringing out creatures and someone is killing them or putting -1/-1 counters on them so I can respond with a Fling.

How about merging this deck with the infinte turn combo with your coin flip deck idea to make a possible competitive cheap legacy deck... Like the idea here to tho... But would love to see a deck merge of both or atleast a attempt... Hope u do man would love to see it...

Hmmm...I'd have to see. I guess a start would be Isochron Scepter, Stitch in Time, Last Chance, Sundial of the Infinite, and Final Fortune.

How do u feel about goblin bomb be in there???

0

Well I had Goblin Bomb in there but then I bought the coin deck and it really wasn't as effective as I thought it would be....Now get a proliferate deck and Goblin Bomb could be deadly.

U dont think it would be good with the infinite turn comb set up of this deck in it... I hope u do post 1 with both combos init i would really like to see your take on how u would do it...

That's a good point. I was considering a couple of things and maybe do extra turn/proliferate/counters.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I could use some help with 2 decks of mine, if you want to.

1. I am getting the public to create their very own Super Hostile deck, and I need as many people as possible to help me out.
Please feel free to tell other people and get them in on the deck. Here is the link, if you want to help.

2. A Tournament deck for the end of the year.

You know your way around a great aggro deck, so I figured you could easily help me out.
