Kor Firewalker lol
Yeah, Kor is always going to be a problem for Burn decks. Maybe sideboard in some higher damage spells. You're only really screwed if your opponent gets out multiples. Otherwise it just slows you down. Other options are to splash black creature kill or something. And besides, who plays Kor Firewalker mainboard anyways?

Pyroclasm (or similar) is always an option to clear the board of critters with protection from red (such as the Kor Firewalker) since it has no target. Since Ball Lightning never stays to long, it's not an issue. ;)
An extremely late post, but - Pyroclasm does not clear the board of creatures with protection from red. Protection from red prevents damage from red as well as makes the permanent illegal target for red spells and abilities.
