Deck Description

Hellrider aggro, as the title says.

So, FNM. I won against all 4 opponents.

Hellrider vs B/G pod 2-0
Easy. All i've got to say.

Hellrider vs Wolf Run 2-0
He thought slagstorm and whipflare 4 each would be enough. I proved him wrong.

Hellrider vs RDW hellrider 2-1
1st match he had 2 chancellor of the forge, fast followed by 2 chieftains.
The other 2 matches I dominated him.

Hellrider vs Solar Flare 2-0
To fast for his control. His mass destruction made geists stronger. I win.

Sword of Feast and Famine. LOVE IT! War and Peace was okay, but never came close to Feast.
The casting, dame, another cast like green sun zenith worked awesome! Definitely a keeper, might add a 3th.

Still need work on the sideboard. At least, I think I do.

Removed 1 ancient grudge and 1 thrun in sideboard for 2 beast within

I might try out genesis wave. The idea of attacking with feast and famine, untapping and playing that seems nice.

You have a good number of creatures. And when you don't tap creatures like the Birds for mana, you can still use them as an offensive measure if you have Hellrider on the field. I feel like you could remove the burn spells and include a couple more small creatures to really help you take advantage of Hellrider's ability.

The whole problem is, you need haste creatures. I first thought of Chandra's Phoenix, but that doesn't do a thing. So far I tested, you do want to keep the incinerate + galvanic blast since in turn 4 to 5 you poke already so hard, with just Hellrider's effect, that 1 galvanic blast or 1 incinerate, or maybe even both, could be enough to finish your match. The birds are, as you say, as well for the poke of Hellrider.

I'm going to test it out next coming FNM with this deck, and then I will see what will happen with my match-ups.

So, almost completed my mainboard. Got half the sideboard ready, still lacking the sideboard swords and mainboard 1 green sun zenith. Tested so far against humans, zombies, u/w spirits, solar flare, b/g pod and snapcaster sword control from friends. It works much better then expected.

Against:

Humans vs Hellrider 0-3 / 1-2 / 0-3
It was mainly a battle of rush, and Hellrider won.

Zombies vs Hellrider 1-2 / 1-2 / 1-2
Quite the annoying matchup. I won with lucky draws every 3th round.

U/W spirits vs Hellrider 0-3 / 1-2 / 1-2
Annihilated it. The incinerate and swords really did the trick.

Solar Flare vs Hellrider 0-3 / 2-1 / 0-3
It was to slow, even on control, only 1 match i was destroyed by 3 black sun zeniths.

B/G pod vs Hellrider 2-1 / 3-0 / 1-2
It were good matches, my loss was due unlucky draws and my 1-2 was only due a play mistake of me.

Snapcaster (delver) sword control vs Hellrider 1-2 / 3-0 / 2-1
I had the most problems against this, 1st loss every match went equal, 2nd loss I was annihilated due mana draw or just had shitty cards every begin hand, wouldn't make much difference since the only win I had was due Thrun. It was a really hard matchup for me.
