It depends on what kind of game you like. I think the Quick Slivers deck will be more consistent. You'll always have a good flow of slivers. So you could say it's more creature based.
This sliver deck is more combo based. If you get the combo it's as good as over since you have about 15+ slivers on the board with which you can attack immediately. Unless your opponent has something to prevent the damage, you'll probably win. I think this deck will be kinda fun in multiplayer though.

Hard to say which is better. I haven't tested this deck that much yet. Te quick sliverdeck is faster in the first few rounds, but after that, this deck will just run straight over it. If your avarage games last about 10+ rounds, I'd go with the quicksliver deck. It's probably a bit more fun to play.

Hehe if you had read the description you would have known. ;) I'll get necrotic sliver, sacrifice Dormant sliver and then attack. The point is that in a worst case scenario I can play my whole deck in turn 6 or 7. I can even wait with casting dormant sliver if I do not have necrotic sliver and don't want to take the risk and use glimpse of nature instead. Also, in an even worse scenario I would at least have about 12+ slivers with defender that are 13/13+ with flying etc. Good luck to the opponent to defeat me. Though the chance that I get necrotic sliver in the first 6 turns is pretty big considering the shear amount of card draw.

I understand your criticism, not the first time I heard this, but believe me it works really well. Even if I don't get aluren I probably will have gemhide sliver with heart sliver which will have a similar effect with dormant sliver. Not as devastating, but definitely hard to stop :)

By the way, check my Sliver Invasion deck. It's a completely different look on slivers but it also works great :)

Thanks for your kind words :)

The reason I also use winged sliver is so I can block flying and indeed because of the casting cost also. I mostly play casual games where we never use sideboards. Ward sliver could be usefull, but tbh, I don't think I will use it because it kinda ruins the fun for me in a casual game.

Again thanks for your comment :)

ajani's mantra is not good at all imo. It's just too slow. ajani goldmane is nice. Maybe I'll try it out :) Thanks for your comment.

Thanks dude :)

Only thing I'm maybe going to change is adding some card draw for my opponent. In turn 3 or 4 my opponent's hand is empty a lot of the time and and then Lilliana's Caress is a dead card pretty much. I'm not sure how I'm going to implement that in a mono black deck though :)

I prefer my decks to be exactly 60 cards. I know they don't have to be, hell I even made some decks with 62 cards. I play this game long enough to know that. There is a reason why almost every player uses 60 cards. It just gives you the best balance. Add 2 more creatures and the mana/creature balance is off. Add 1 land and 1 creature and the same thing will happen even though it has little impact. If I want to do that right in this deck I'll end up with 65+ cards in this deck. And as you understand, that's a big no-go.

I have sliver queen. I used to love it a lot. But even Sliver Overlord is much much better than Sliver Queen. Those tokens are useless to me. I'd rather spent the mana on playing slivers with abilities or card draw. Sliver queen is too slow, Sliver Legion gives you an instant buff, so it's quick. Sliver Overlord owns Sliver Queen because of the search ability, but again, it's pretty slow. I'd rather use Homing Sliver for that in case I need it.

Having only 1 sliver Legion greatly reduces the chance of ever being able to play it. So, most of the time it will sit there somewhere in the deck being useless. That's why you always want to have at least 2 pieces of such a card.

Thanks for the tips though.

Hey,

I like some of your ideas, but you have some synergies that do not work together. Like Crypt Sliver and Crystaline. As soon as you play Crystaline, You cannot regenerate any slivers. Harmonic Sliver is nice, but the big downside of that sliver is that you cannot play any Artifacts or Enchantments yourself since you MUST destroy one of those. If your opponent doesn't have any, you have to destroy Aluren.

I'd replace the shadow sliver with Shifting Sliver. It's one more mana so you cannot play it with Aluren, but at least you can still block creatures ;)

Just some ideas. It's always a good idea to make sure the synergy in your deck is 100% right.

Cheers

Hehe, yeah it is ;) Was kind of the point of the title ghehe. Thanks for the tips, ward sliver is an option, though it should have to replace Synapse Sliver because of the mana cost. And I really would like to keep in in there against almost any deck basically.
Aluren and Glimpse of Nature are great options. Gonna think about it! At the moment I have no idea how to implement them into this deck. Maybe Distant Melody could make place for Aluren... No idea how to fit in Glimpse of Nature though. I'd probably have to remove one of the slivers.

Any ideas? I'm definitely going to test it though, thanks :)

Thanks for your comment man :) experiment kraj is nice indeed, but it's another 6mana card, that's not so good for the mana curve :)

Cheers.

Doesn't change the fact that a perfect turn like he describes will almost never happen since he only has 4 forest :)

If you need green cards for a start you better make sure you have enough forest to kick it off in the first couple of rounds.

Ofc, then you don't have enough mountains to use Valakut. I'd either put a lot more red in your deck if you want to focus on Valakut, or try to focus on landfall/green.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck with the deck, it looks like fun to play !

Nice deck :)

Some ideas:
I understand why you put so many mountains in your deck, but you need much more forest. You will get a lot of starting hands where you will have a birds of paradise and no forest in your hand (or harrow for that matter). Maybe you have a fetchland in your hand, but that'll slow you down a turn. I'd remove valacut, because it stands apart from your main concept, put 4 mountains in and 10 forest. with the birds you can produce red, and with harrow you can search mountains.

I'd also remove blue from the deck and put in more landfall cards, or some protection (enchantment/artifact destroyers etc.). Rite of Replication is a nice card but is it worth the hassle of adding a third color?

I chose spellbook because I can always play that. The problem with Reliquary tower is that it is a land :) I never want to have to choose between casting an important land and discard cards, or cast that land and not play a certain spell.

I knew about the curiosity infinite combo but that sort of combo's destroy the fun in magic imho. When you use infinite combo's you are basically waiting until it drops in stead of playing against your opponent.

Thanks for your comment though, Will check out your deck right now. Cheers.
