Deck Description

Nobody runs 5 colors in standard so figured i'd try a 5 color block party brew of it plus nobody runs chromanticore and the idea is to bestow it onto a token of either xenagos, elspeth, or a creature you reanimate from ashiok's minus ability, regardless chromanticore is a beast on its own

Deck discussion for 5 Color Planeswalker Standard

Might just be me, but I don't think Liliana does much in a deck where you have 3 swamps. It would be a bit like including Domri Rade in this deck, even though you've only got 4 creatures. Also, I would look into using 4x sylvan cyrathids (or however its spelled)

I concur, but not with the caryatids part

Just threw this together real fast and didn't modify the mana base right, I plan on changing the lands for more swamp fetches from lily to help fix my mana. The caryatids aren't necessary since i have 4 chromatic lanterns and plenty of draw sources to find what i need, not including the scry lands

I think the 5 swamps now is decent. The Shock-lands counts as swamps so that can also be used to tutor for dual-colored lands. +5/+5 or -5/-5 is nothing to scoff at either. Just look at dismember.

One thing I would recommend would be another Elspeth, she's the main form of creature-production with her +1 allowing you to chump block their board.

I likee the idea of the deck but how do you defend your planeswalker? you have a limited amount of removal. also you need multiple planeswalkers to succesfully let them protect each other. and burn kind of recks this deck. i dont like to be negative but maybe you could remove a few planeswalkers and add some counterspells?
if you have time check out my new combo deck.

I'm gonna try this deck out... but with a couple of additions. Maybe some other multicolored creatures other than chromanticores. Maybe some good one or two drops.

Actually, a Chromanticore deck has top-8'd before. The trick is to base it mostly in green for things like courser of kruphix and sylvan caryatid. Frank LePore did an article on the deck that qualified:. http://magic.tcgplayer.com/db/article.asp?ID=11657 the planeswalker idea is really cool, and it might be really fun to play. All you gotta do is get the mana base right.
