Epic Proportions is a wonderful card for a treefolk deck, my friend plays one with it in and it's wonderful with the flash. at the end of their turn pop it on your strongest and swing next turn.

To bcmaledragon,

I really don't think you have a life, if all you do is find clarky's comments and make fun of him over them. And what the heck is up with the "Now"? Did he call you a poser? If so I think he was right. And there was NO WAY clarky knew about the guy that that may not be even be running this combo since they said he won in 2 turns, look at the Planar Gate, tell me how too summon that on turn 2? Even if the is running the deck, it would be impossible for him to know about it.

To Blu3_s0ul,

It's not to slow, and you're pretty much garenteed to have a few elves out to cump block, and the overkill will give me a few more elves then I already had, so it's really fast verus most aggro decks, like treefolks, just chump block with elfs and get as many elfs as their power.

To TheSioux,

I wonder if you saw the point of the deck, the Damnation is pretty good with this deck because what it will do is destroy all of they're creatures with -1/-1 counters giving me more elves and all my elfs will get them to replacing themselfs, at this point, they have nothing and you have a army of 1/1 elfs, does damnation still not go well in this deck?

Don't run the Djinn, some backlash is fine, but that would be your downfall if they only have one really strong creature on the feild, you will be FORCED to give (lets say it is Korlash, Heir to Darkblade, and they're running a full black deck and had 13 swamps out on the field) a fat 13/13 Korlash FORESTWALK and hit you for 13 points of damage, and you can't do anything about and they'll just do it again next turn since there would be no way to stop him from doing seven damage really.

In normal, non-standard yes it would be nice, but this is a deck that really isn't black mana depended and doesn't need to much, really only to play Damnation and everlasting torment. I think I might switch some of the mana-accelerators for the packmasters for someplace to put extra mana so you don't die from the mana burn.

I'll try to help, but as I said, I'm a noob at magic, only been playin' for a month and a half.

A quick overview of a play in this deck for those who don't get it... I don't think many won't though.

Have Flourishing Defenses in play with Everlasting torment and play Bramble-thorn Paragon out as well, play Hunting Triad, get some 2/2 elves and swing with them, if they block you get more elves and if they don't they take 6 damage. If you get your 2/2 elf army big enough damnation them and double it.
