Deck Description

Just got back into mtg. This deck is built mostly from cards I already have and is meant to be pretty inexpensive ($ wise). Made a few adjustments and decided to spend a little bit more $ than I originally intended. Still need to buy 2 x Ajani, 1x Advent of the Wurm and 1x Trostani. My worry now is that I don't have enough removal. Maybe I don't need it with as many creatures as I could potentially have?

Deck discussion for Green/White lifegain

If you can get your hands on it, Loxodon Smiter, it's a 4/4 that can't be countered and is only 3 mana, may not have lifelink, but it's amazing for any Selesnya deck.

A good start to any life gain deck is to ask, "Why am i gaining all this life?" It is best to use life gain for other purposes than just gaining life. Making your life gain cards have multiple uses is a great way to make a deck, however we run into a problem with that... Some cards that benefit from life gain the best are Ajani, Caller of the Pride and Archangel of Thune, but those are rather expensive. I would suggest try to get as many Voracious Wurms and Angelic Accords in this deck as possible. Angelic Accord will also make your populate cards more effective! I don't know if Verdant Haven and Staff of the Wild Magus are that useful though... The have very small effects and could probably have much better replacements.

Thanks for pointing out Angelic Accord! I was already thinking about removing Staff of the Wild magus and Verdant Haven but didn't know what to replace them with. I also removed the 2 Trollhides for 2 more Unflinching Courage. I had looked at Archangel of Thune but that is probably too much for me to spend on a card. I may however get a couple of Ajani, Caller of the Pride to throw in as ~$5 seems reasonable. Thanks again for the tips!

Wait, Ajani is five dollars? What? That is a pretty cheap planeswalker. Good idea for the addition of more Unflinching Courages. If you need anything else, just ask!
