I see all the time the tag america....and i just hate it that the most of the magic community dont even know the collor combos names.so just to make it clear:2 Colors - From the Ravnica Cycle, these are all of the names of the guilds.Connected 3 Colors - From Shards of Alara Cycle, these are the names of the different shards. Each "primary color" shares a color to the left and right of the color wheel, hence they are the "connected" versions.Wedge 3 Colors - Until the recent release of the Commander card sets, the Planar Chaos Dragons were the only Legendary creatures with this unique "wedge" color pattern on the color wheel (one primary color with two opposite colors). Thus, the color combos are named after these dragons. The second set of wedge color names are from the Apocalypse prefixes.4 Colors - As of yet, there is only a single set of cards with these color combinations: the Guildpact Nephilims. Thus, the color combos are named after them.5 Colors - Among many of the 5 color cards, one theme seem to rise above them: The Maelstrom from the Conflux set. Two cards use "Maelstrom" as an adjective, and one card is called Conflux. So, both words seem appropriate to use as color combo name. (Though, I tend to favor Maelstrom myself.)
