Deck Description

A 5 Color Ally deck that may or may not be tournaments worthy. The idea is to build up your ally creatures and keep them safe with cards like hindering light and dispel. I figured there will be no need for creature removal of sorts in this deck as you will be able to increase your forces effectively enough to destroy your opponent.

Deck discussion for 5 Color Ally

maybe switch dispel and hindering light for a different spells because as an aggro deck you're not trying to control

i would switch umara raptor for seascape aerialist and the loremaster for ondu cleric

I made a deck like this, it's definitely not tournament quality but really fun, it relys on amulet of vigor for the land base (otherwise it's a bit of a downer) and uses cascade to bring out ally's, it's also 5c, check it out you might get some ideas

Drop the dispel and the hindering light.
Not very good cards in general.

Replace the dispel with 4 jwari shapshifter. One of the better allies. Also 4 ondu cleric is a must and swap hindering light for them. Lastly, this is a creature oriented deck so consider putting in 4 ancient ziggurat which would work wonderds for your mana issues. Also cascade works very well with allies, Consider bitumonus blast or ardent plea, captured sunlight, bloodbraid elf or enlisted wurm.

I like the cascade idea with bituminous blast, but the hindering light and dispel instants are not for control. They are there to protect your allies when you beef them up. I've played an early version of this deck a lot and was constantly thwarted by creature destroy spells or removals. Since allies are mostly contingent on aggro, than you need a way to keep them safe. I don't think seascape aerialist or ondu cleric is needed. You'll have more than enough allies to really have to worry about flying and the Paladin will cover life issues. Plus Agadeem allows you to take from them. Loremaster is crucial for middle to end game when you need more cards. Yeah I had Ancient Ziggurat in there before, maybe I'll sideboard that.

Oh also I just looked up the ruling on copying (for Jwari shapeshifter) and she does not copy pre-existing counters. So she basically comes in as just what the card would have been if you played it itself. In my mind that is not that useful (although it will allow me early game to choose which creatures i want more of on the field).

hey this is alright, but in the spectrum of allies 3 color is all that is needed to win, i like naya
but some people like 4c with out red
locally im kind of an ally expert as far as small towns go.
blue allies kinda suck unless you want to do a grixis ally deck meant to mill and take and burn
but if your going to 5 color you need: harabaraz druid, kazuul warlord, ondu cleric, hagara diabolist, sea gate loremaster, kabira evangel, kazandu blademaster, talus paladin, and in rare cases vastwood animist really does wonders

Even if the jwari shapeshifter comes in without the counters, she still buffs all allys you control and on top of that, you can copy say a kazul warlord which costs converted 5 for only 2 mana

personally i think you would do better even using cascade with kabira evan to hope you get an ally for protection from the spells color

I still think you may want to implement at least lightning bolt again flying because that could easily be the end of you

Honestly, I'd almost say drop the Agadeem Occultist, and make it a 4 color deck, sans black, which will free up at least 4 or so cards. In return, I'd add a few Lightning Bolts, like Gutslayer recommended, or Harabaz Druids. I wouldn't bother with Kabira Evangel, since it offers no protection for anything played during your opponents' turns.

What does everyone think about throwing in the enchantment from Ravnica "Followed Footsteps" - garunteed ally every upkeep.
