This deck has several synergies that revolve around Glare of Subdual, Stoic Angel and the Q mechanic. It also has exalted as a side benefit, and lots of answers to different problems. Essentially it uses Glare and the Q mechanic to lock things down, plus Stoic Angel to keep them that way. The counters are used to protect my pieces, and Ghostway is used as protection against board control, and also to untap all my creatures before my own final attack. The Puresight merrow allows me to filter which cards I get later in the game and has the cheapest Q mechanic... it's actually very good.
