I felt like I needed a good all-round deck. It can sweep through with quickly powered-up creatures or make an attempt to survive longer games A few cards are Heroic, so there are plenty of Instant spells to give them a much-needed boost.
Having an Akroan Skyguard and Stand Firm in your starting hand is a great way to not only power up your creature, but get an idea of what you'll be drawing next. Putting some enchantment creatures on your Skyguard can never hurt, either, giving it not only the creature's ability, but a +1/+1 counter as well. If the game ends up dragging on, then Sun Titan can be a good cleanup creature that can give you back some of your enchantment creatures that you've lost. Hamletback Goliath is a useful creature to use against decks that put out big monsters, and if you can get Sun Titan out with it, then you'll be able to boost him even further. I have personally found this deck to work well in a Two-Headed Giant match.
