Deck Description

Wirewood Lodge+ Forest enchanted with elvish guidance + Argothian Elder = Infinite mana.

Priest of titania or Elvish archdruid+ 4 other elves + Staff of Domination = Infinite mana, Infinite draw, Infinite life, Infinite tap and untap.

Take Imperious perfect out of the sideboard and when staff of domination goes infinite you can continuously tap/untap her for infinite tokens.

I play this deck very often at my college, it works quiet well.

I tend to get the reaction, "Elves, everyone smack him." It is fun.

Yep, I agree with that xD

Maybe you wanna test Hurricane with that combo.

Hmmm hurricane is nice, allows me to kill you the turn i go infinite instead of waiting a turn. Thankyou. It is a sorcery though, if i Genesis Wave it goes down the toilet.

I just read it again and i noticed, each player . . . doesnt that kill me as well? lol. "Thats it, EVERYTHING DIES"

But if you have the Staff of Domination, you can get up infinite lives. Then everyone dies but you.

not to brag or anything, but i can do a spot on impersonation of the TFS Vegeta. best part is that i have a buddy who can do the TFS Nappa. we have too much fun walking around the mall while arguing like they do in the show lol :D

it is. once we were walking around and i was using a really thick australian accent and he was doing a snobby britishman. we had these guys in one of the stores absolutely convinced that we werent from the U.S. until we dropped our accents as we left. their jaws were on the floor. it was priceless!

0

Thats hilarious. My friends and i are not very good at accents. Although . . . the runt of our group does a mean smeagle voice. Its only natural, he looks like a troll.

i can do his voice too! it creeps people out hardcore. i love it!!

Drakeraenes, I love your deck names and i really like Sado-Masochist Carnival, and Pay in Blood. They would be so fun to play.

i showed a buddy of mine the pay in blood deck and he started swearing at me. it was funny. as for the carnival, i made that one a long while back, just never put it up on here. i play it when i can, and it annoys the hell out of my friends when we play 4 man casual matches

I bet, My friends hate playing against my slivers. What they hate the most is Marit Lage. Turn 1 20/20 is annoying.

a lot of my decks dont ever go beyond the initial build on here, but the ones that i have actually tested or built are truly nasty. my markov deck is a pain to fight, but my most diabolical deck is my U/B exile deck. i proxied it becase one of the guys i play was being a smartass and said his mill deck could beat anything, even another mill deck. so i pulled it out after getting it all prepped and told him i was playing my exile deck. about 3 turns in my friends all knew why i had never made this deck in reality before. turn 4 i hit circu and started laying into each of them and just exiling everything from their decks. it was epic

how in the hell do you have a turn 1 marit lage?!?! O.o

With that vampire that quits all counters from a permanent when enters the battlefield, maybe?

hand: lotus petal, dark depths, dark rit, dark rit, hexmage, lightning greaves.

Turn 1, Lotus petal, Dark Depths, Sac lotus petal for 1 black mana, Dark Rit, Dark Rit, lightning greaves, Hexmage. Sack hexmage remove counters from dark depths, summons marit lage and then equip greaves, swing.

Realistically i swing with marit lage around turn 2-4. I Dont think ive ever made it to turn 5 without having at least 1 marit lage swinging.

grim discovery is a life saver for mill/control.

i summon marit lage turn 1 around 30% of the time and swing turn 2.

0

thats a 2 cost black card. dark depths doesnt tap for mana, you would need at least 2 mana to pull that combo off. Hexmage is likely not the answer to my question

edit: i stand corrected lol

lotus petals :) and dark rits.

0

i want to try this out now. my friends hate my old vampire deck because it had hexmage in it, so this could prove useful hehehe :D

0

conveniently i have both of those :D

0
Posted 14 February 2014 at 19:31

Its really fun. Dark Depths are 50$ now, i got mine when they where 25$ each. I am quiet pleased. Honestly I hate playing my marit lage deck. its so boring, i almost always win, the only thing that can stop me is pure control. There no fight, pretty much just insta win. So i rarely ever use it anymore. I only play it when someones acting like a jerk and showing off. Other than that its just boring.

0

i would be playing that almost every time we get together for 4 man casual games. one of our group likes to brag and thinks he is all that, so i would play it often

0

After playing it a few times the bragging stops. lol

0

not this guy. he is one of those guys thats like "yeah but next time, im gonna win" and then whines when he loses again

0

Yeah, the "if i had one more turn", or "If i would have played this, and not gone easy on you".

0

yup. thats this guy to a "T". more than once ive had to smack him around to show him thats he isnt such hot stuff. it has yet to sink in lol

What people dont understand is that there is no perfect deck. Which is what i love about magic. There is always a deck to flat out rhape your deck. I love it, another thing i love is how you can be winning, and the tides can turn in a single turn and you lose.

0

i have had that happen more time than i can count. the one firend i play most often has a nivix cyclops deck that has a bad habit of winning out of nowhere. he buffs nivix up with armed//dangerous and then makes it unblockable with attful dodge. its super annoying

0

0

it is, but losing when its 20 to 2 in my favor just makes me want to play him again. we did that 3 times in a row. each time he spanked me right as i was about to win

0

I love a good fight, The more fun the battle the less it matters who wins.

0

thats what the first guy has trouble learning. he only wants to win. he doesnt care if he has fun or not. hell i threaten to pull out my rod of spanking deck on him if only because i play it to make my opponent a bit more humble by games end

0

My first deck was Marit lage, because i wanted to be able to stand up to the big boys. Then i realized its not fun, and i could still lose to control. So now i run elves and slivers. Much more fun.

i have a sliver deck that runs genesis wave as well. it is so funny seeing peoples reactions when you drop genesis wave with a sliver deck. the first time i did it in our group i got a very loud "WTF?!" from the loudmouth in our group. it was priceless lol

How do you drop genesis wave with a sliver deck?!?! lolz

0

manaweft sliver makes all my slivers tap for a color of my choice, so i just tap 3 of them for green and then tap all my other slivers and lands for X. ive managed to cast it with X at 15 before, and since my sliver deck is predominantely permanents, it gives me a huge field advatage with a single card
