Marit Lage

When i first saw Dark Depths i was in love, it inspired me to make this deck. I have tested many theories with this deck, it was blue/black at one point.

I found that this version is about the best you can do if you only want to focus on Marit Lage. I had to add the kalonia rings because people that can block flying tend to get in my way for a turn.

If i had the money there would be 4 vampiric tutors, and 4 demonic tutors. Maybe one day :)

Dark Depths, Lotus Petal, Dark Ritual, Dark Ritual, Lightning Greaves, Vampire hexmage.

Turn 1- Dark Depths and play lotus petal. Sack lotus petal for dark rit, then another dark rit. Play hexmage and then greaves. Sack vampire hexmage to remove counters from dark depths and summon marit lage, equip greaves. Swing. Game

The above strategy probably happens around 20% of the time. I usually summon marit lage turn 2-3 and you are usually dead by turn 3-4. Multiplayer games i swing with marit lage and then consumption it to take out another player. Use Grim discovery and summon marit lage again next turn.

You fear no mill deck as long as you have a grim discovery.

I rarely play this deck anymore, its no fun winning without a fight.
I love to give myself a mild heart attack, use consumption on myself, do 20 damage while at the same time gaining 20 health.

I now only use this deck when someones acting like a jerk. Put them in there place.
