Deck discussion for Birthing pod rules

no elves?
I mean consistent one drops that get the pod out in turn 2 should be a must in this deck

- Garruk could easily go down to 2, you want him midgame as card draw engine when you have a big guy out.
- Grand Abolisher doesn't do much for the deck, it's just a bear
- Equipment would be nice, it makes Crusader crazy good, makes mid game birds useful, etc... Run 1 or 2 swords.

Aside from that I think it's a very nice build.

Why would I run any elves if I am running birds of paradise?

Grand Abolisher handles business against a lot of decks, for instance, turn 1 RVT, turn 2 plains - Grand Abolisher. I can play a Spellskite and IF they use an instant during their turn because Grand Abolisher is out, I change the target of it to Spellskite. Grand Abolisher provides excellent lock-down.

Why would I run any swords without a reliable way to get them out i.e. SFM?

Thanks for all the criticism, though

I think that the Elves are a good thing to run, even with the Birds. Because you never know when your gonna have your chain shut down after the lower drops are gone. Also, I think the Abolisher is fine, same with Spellskite. And Swords? Phht... Don't need those in a Pod deck.

Thats what I am saying. I guess the internet saying the swords are good makes them good?
