Deck discussion for Durex

Looks pretty cool. Consider Mother of runes, and if you can get them swords to plowshares/path to exile. As far as keeping the heat off of you, ghostly prison works WONDERS.

Mother of Runes is crazy, but what do I take out for her?

Hmm. If i were to choose anything, id probably go with the Absolute spells. They're really situational, and with the mother and your brave the elements, you should be prepared for anything.

Protection is nice, but you have 12 total creatures. So most likely, you will not be doing too much damage at all until very late game. You are running enlightened tutor, so you can go ahead and drop down on your enchantments for more creatures. There are an assortment of good creatures you might consider to make this deck a little better on tempo. My favorite white one drops are cathedral sanctifier, and champion of the parish. Sure they don't have protection, but they will keep this deck a little more aggressive.

Lastly, I have never seen a mono white deck like yours that didn't run oblivion ring and wrath of god. A bit of control will go a long way with this deck. Wrath of God + Brave the elements ftw.

With only 22 mana, I wouldn't run more than two Wrath of God.

Fairplay, I see what you mean, but those enchantments provide some pump up for the Ethereal :/

Oblivion ring is an enchantment you control so it works with your armor, you wont need more than one copy of enchants that give you protection on the battlefield anyway, so those would be your search material.

Day of Judgement is a great addition. Mangara of Corondor is another great form of removal as well, but works best when combined with karakas. Serra Avenger is a nice tempo card, and if you throw in Aether Vial's, youll be dumping creatures out for free at instant speed left and right. For some mono white inspiration, consider taking a peak at this deck i put together. http://www.mtgvault.com/kennythedestroyer/decks/the-only-guarentees-dt/

Remember protection doesnt affect boardwide effects.

Safe passage, or rootborn defense will get around your wrath.

Oh of course Wrath of God doesn't target!

Earnest fellowship is a good enchantment. I'd take out one or two Day of Judgement. Also Leyline of Sanctity seems better than witchbane orb, and it's an enchantment too. Auriok Champion is a good creature.
