Any other suggestions?
maybe some dark rituals? it would speed up how soon you could get out a wand and it helps play multiple spells in one turn. also isochron scepter is another great artifact with imprint so you can pump out lots of mana leaks or tome scours and still add to the wands' effect. check out my defender deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=120135
