Deck Description

Deck Challenge: Flavor deck

this deck is based around Ixidor from the Onslaught book, i used spells, creatures, and events from the book, while still trying to keep the deck "good" (which means i have to add some cards that are not from the bock, but work well with the theme)

this is one of my all time fave decks, i have rebuilt it time and time again, always using the same basic format, Ixidor's morph.

basic idea behind the deck is to get Brine Elemental and Vesuvan Shapeshifter, into play and keep them alive until you win, or your until your opponent gives up (which happens 9 times out of 10 with this deck)

play Brine Elemental, (morph him, and use Ixidor to turn him face up, is the cheapest way) your opponent/s skips his or her next untap step, at the beginning of your next upkeep, turn Vesuvan Shapeshifter face down, and then pay his morph cost and copy Brine Elemental. basically lock down your opponent/s permanents, and tap or counter anything they try to play after that, after a few turns, you opponent/s will most likely scoop.

(the book is pure awesome, and an epic story, if you have not read it, i advise you to check it out)

Deck discussion for Ixidor's Illusions

This deck is absolutely phenominal! I've been trying to make an illusion deck, but I've had very little success in making one effective. There are a great deal of cards here that I wasn't even aware existed, yet are exactly what I need.

Brine elemental is going to allow me to have ALOT of fun with Shimmer. Thanks Ixidor_co2!
