Casual control deck built specifically for multiplayer kitchen table magic. Can be played in a cancerous way due to similarities to lantern control. I focused on the fun aspects of playing from other people's decks, and politicking on people's draw steps till I can get the soft lock on the game.
I use several combos. Deathtouch changelings are dragons and trigger Sarkhan the masterless to kill all creatures that attack me or planeswalkers I control. They are also slivers and gain screeching sliver's mill ability. The deathtouchers are scary to block, and Marchesa marks a change to a more aggressive stance.Marchesa and Sword of truth and justice are silly together, and put a bunch of counters on the board to close out games. Thief of sanity and lantern of insight let me steal spells very intentionally, allowing me to think of my opponent's top decks as a resource. (assuming Thief can do the damage)Nicol Bolas GP, combines with lantern in the same way Thief does, and can close out games herself. (The name is Nicole right?)Screeching sliver and lantern of insight let me control everyone's draws, focusing on improving the quality of cards I draw and preventing people from drawing relevant removal. Scheming symmetry becomes vampiric tutor in combination with screeching sliver. This is super important for filling out the various combos in the deck.The rest of the deck just covers up weaknesses.Phyrexian arena and Bloodfast draw cards and hemorrhage life.Prismatic vista fixes mana, and hemorrhages life.phyrexian reclamation lets me mill my own creatures for card advantage, and is the sole protection from creature removal, and hemorrhages life.Sword of war and peace gains life.Sword of sinew and steel has important protection from black and has back row removal that this deck desperately needs.
