Deck Description

My very first card was exalted, so this is my interpretation of my first card's ability: EXALTED!

How to Play

Exalted is exalted, so here are some neat combos with this deck:

~ Essence Harvest on the second main phase is a game changer. Even on turn 3, you have cast for 4 damage and 4 life, not too shabby.

~ Add Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability to the Essence Harvest yields awesome results.

~ Gideon's Lawkeeper + Silent Arbiter: You can tap the only attacking creature.

~ Holy Mantel is awesome with exalted

~ When High Priest of Penance is on the offence with all the exalts, it's hard for the opponent to block as I would get to destroy a permanent.

Deck discussion for Exalted Essence

My buddy nearly beat my 'old' elemental deck with a deck that used exalted. Having play against his deck, with features a nice amount of white utility as a mono white deck i have to say i don't like the black here. I think this deck wastes alot of potential just to get a secondary win condition in Essence Harvest.

Understandable, but you know how easy it is to get a lets say 10/10 exalted creature out on turn 5, for example. Essence Harvest is then a 20 life swing (10 damage and 10 gain) for 3 mana. Very hard to pass that up. Usually GG assume damage has been dealt on turns 2-4.

I love the one-drop exalted Duty-Bound Dead. I would sooner take out the Essence Harvest than the Duty-Bound Dead, and as noted above, I love the Essence Harvest in this deck.

Just a different approach I suppose. Any chance your buddy has his deck online? If you could provide a link so I can view it, that would be great!

That is a good point, it kind of serves the purpose that fling does in my deck.
