Deck Description

This is a high-synnergy enchantment deck. The goal is to win with the intense value you're generating through enchantments. Let's talk about the reasoning behind some of these weird card choices

Ajani's Chosen + God-Favored General : God- Favored General can make 2 enchantment creatures each turn when he untaps. How is he going to get tapped in the first place? springleaf drum, that's how. Now that's a pretty good deal on it's own, but if you have Ajani's Chosen out you also get TWO CATS FOR FREE. That's 6 power you just put on the board for 3 mana and 0 cards from your hand.

Purphoros + Basically any other card in this deck: You're gonna be making alot of tokens in this deck and purphoros loves tokens. He's going to pump damage into their face every time a token comes on board. Even if you just have a drum and a god-favored general and purphoros out you're doing 4 bonus damage for free every turn then you're pumping those tokens +1/0 all day long and sending them right to the face. With elspeth or assemble the legion with purphoros that sets a really fast doom clock.

Soldier of the Pantheon: This guy just does work. He's one mana, you can play him on your first turn then next turn drop a drum and tap him and play a god-favored general. He's not slowing you down any and he's gonna hold back those multicolored threats when times get tough. You can also bestow an Eidolon of countless battles on him and go man mode on their face.

Chained to the rocks: This is some amazing removal for the low cost of one mana. You're gonna have a mountain, you're gonna have a plains. You're gonna chain those big threats to the rocks. In doing so you're going to buff your eidolons +1/+1 and you're also going to make yourself a cat sometimes.

Assemble the legion: this card wins the game on it's own. You want alot of little dudes running around in this deck, it helps your eidolon and they all get buffed by the spear of heliod.

Sideboard talk:
We've got more banisher priests in there as well as magma jet and mizzium mortars. This is just in case they're dropping some huge beats on us early in the game and we need to stabilize. The mortars can also deal with a blood baron which would otherwise be impossible for us to stop. Boros charm and brave the elements give us some evasion and some ways to avoid being wiped out by a T4 supreme verdict by some crafty control player. Skullcrack is in there to stop people from gaining a ton of life via gray merchants or sphinx's revelation.

How do you like the deck? Any changes you would make? I've been debating taking out the Warleader's helix's in favor of more creatures, early removal or evasion... Not sure though

hmmmmm. I like the deck a lot. It is very carefully balanced. However, you're gonna have trouble keeping creatures alive. I think Boros Charm needs to be mainboarded. It is good for any match-up. PLUS brave the elements. Give all white creatures prot from your choice? Give em green and swing on through. Also, one word, BRIMAZ!!!! That card is way too good not to run. The token spawning will also feed to Purphoros AND those tokens will be monsters with the Spear out though I understand if you're working on a budget so Brimaz might be out. Again, these are just suggestions but it would be interesting to see how this deck runs once BotG comes out. Also you're working on a small mana curve, almost even aggro. Elspeth is a little questionable because of that though the synergy with the rest of the deck makes her almost uncompromisable.

Man I like your suggestions. I took out the springleaf drums and the warleaders helix's and one eidolon and I put in brimaz, boros charm and brave the elements. I think the drum may have ended up a dead draw alot of the time so I like this new setup better. Now I have some good tricks to keep my dudes alive from pretty much anything except for drown in sorrow. Drown in sorrow is a bit concerning but it really only blows out my 1/1 tokens, soldier of the pantheon and god-favored general so I can come back from that. Also yeah I agree that Elspeth is a bit pricey but her 4+ power board wipe and token making ability is just too useful for me to pass up.
