Deck Description

This deck mills and has a lot of removal, all to eventually get all the cards put into the graveyard haunting echoed (exiled, hence the name) Ive never played extraction or any type of removal/mill before so be easy but critisisive (is that even a word?)

probably not you would have to sac a creature too.

first of all it is a demon and then the only threatening creature i have really is royal assassin and gastlord, i would have a 5 out of 59 cards to draw my good creatures

since you have jace's erasure in here, do you think it makes sense to put in some cantrips? I think brainstorm works well with it, though I can't see which cards you can drop. In any case, this is an interesting deck, GJ man

Thanks for the comment on my Iso deck!

It's super lame that the best mill card is so expensive, Glimpse the Unthinkable. Totally worth the investment in my opinion though lol IT'S SO COOL!

I would suggest Damnation over Life's Finale too because it's much cheaper, but that card is pretty damn expensive too.

I don't know how much you want to focus on milling here, but Mind Funerals are always good, as well as Hedron Crabs. Traumatize is good as well (maybe 2.) And Circu, Dimir Lobotomist is a great creature for blue/black.

One of the hidden jewels of milling is Grimoire Thief, give that guy a peek. He is AWESOME. The only bad thing about him is that he requires two blue mana, but man. Good stuff.

I would probably take out 1 Haunting Echoes to even the mana curve a little bit, since you're probably only going to need to play 1 to totally wreck someone's deck.

Demonic Tutors are great, but expensive. Watery Grave and Polluted Delta are also crucial lands for blue/black, but yet again expensive. Underground Rivers are less expensive, but they also hurt you every time you tap it. It could be worth it though.

I would replace Piranha Marsh and Bojuka Bog with Terramorphic Expanses or Evolving Wilds, if you can't afford Polluted Delta. Piranha Marsh isn't very helpful, and Bojuka Bog is taking away from the Haunting Echoes strategy you want here.

Perhaps you would consider some Ponders/Brainstorms to help you get what you need, and they would do great milling with Jace's Erasure out.

I hope this helps! I like the vibe you have going for this deck, I could just see you throwing in some card draw/more creatures! Take a look at my blue/black mill deck, it has a lot of the cards I mentioned. It's way different than yours but maybe you'll see something that you like!

i had a deck very similar called killmill vol 1 it killed and it milled i always found problem ws not enough blockers, i eventually broke the deck up, positive was always the tome scoure on go 1 followed by glimpse on go 2 15 cards milled and so much to go at with a go 2 surgical extraction, i ran x2 traumatize because that with haunting echoes is just a game ender if a little mana intensive, so consider these as options i know from expperiance they worked well, wont win u friends but thats the point of mill decks right !, lol, i know youve comment on the price of the glimpse but i'm afraid the difference it will make is awsome even juts x 3 as thats all i ever afforded lol, consider cheaper blockers like hebron crab, and maybe some myrs, they have uses but can also chomp when needed, hope i helped.

i need help with my smallpox deck, angelic destiny deck, and my bloodthirst decks, if you could follow my name link and help, thanks.

Surprised you aren't running any of the newer super-mill cards like Archive Trap. 13 card mill? Why not?
If you could, please give me input on my goblin deck: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=229571

Yea I was wondering why Archive Trap wasnt used, there is a fair amount of searching going on in most decks (fetches etc), seems like it would work well and I know in my mill decks it often gets used for its trap cost.

I always was a fan of mill decks, even if I can never seem to get them to work well.

If anyone has some time and wouldnt mind checking out my UB zombie deck, I feel like it has a very solid combo that with some fine tuning from some of the more experienced players could be amazing.

This is pretty dope. I ran something similar to this I added wall of frost and drowner initiate. Then used path to exile with archive trap and traumatize with glimpse and isochron scepter. Think about some of those combos, you would have to splash but it would interesting to see how you would go about it.
Id also like to play this against my b/w control: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=216828 check it out
