Deck discussion for Mental Breakdown

Pretty obvious deck. Wizard control (counters, deck stacking, and spell copying) combined with overpowered mill cards. If you have any suggestions on how to better this deck please share. Thanks.

Cut the islands back from 6 to 3 and added 3 Temporal Mastery. With my mana curve topping out at 3 I dont really need a generic 20 mana. I was thinking about removing some Drowned Catacombs but then I realised that do to underground seas nevering ending brokenness and wording it will count towards the catacombs coming in untapped. With a deck heavy in multicasting I couldnt help adding Temporal Mastery for the 2 cmc miracle shot.

I could use some suggestions for edits and sideboard cards. A few friends asked me why I havent maindecked Dream Twist or Tomb Scour. I just think Memort Sluice is more cost effective. 8 mill for 1 cmc and a couple creature taps over 6 mill for 3cmc or 5 mill for 1cmc. Factor in running four and thats half a deck milled for 4 cmc and 8 creature taps not to mention that the cost effectiveness adds to greater numbers of multicasts. Thankfully many of the wizards Im using have static effects regardless of being tapped(need to rule check this). Friends have also asked why I dont just run all three or two out of the three or whatever. Simple answer is that I want to maintain a smaller quicker deck and compared to the broken abuse cards like Glimpse the Unthinkable, Brain Freeze, and Mind Funeral can dish out, they are a waste of time. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

Im not convinced that Isochron is used well in this deck. In most cases, youll be able to spend the two mana that would cost to play the Stick itself on mill instead. Playing the Stick effectively cayses you to lose a turn of mill and im not sure it makes up for itself later (considering the activation cost would again be better spent on ither in hand mill spells. Instead, consider Raven Guild Master; get him into play morphed, and then flip him after he gets through.

Hope these ideas help. Should you get a chance, please take a look at my Mind Over Matter deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=145831 ). Any comments or suggestions you could offer would be much appreciated. If that deck doesn't suit your tastes, feel free to click on my name to see my full deck list. Thanks.

Thanks! I completely agree. I have edited this deck many times and the Iso was added back when the deck was more instant heavy. I didnt even notice I had altered the deck and made them obsolete. Ill just maindeck a couple Tomb Scour and look for some new sideboard additions. Thanks again.
