Duress rotated, trying to keep it standard so nothing from Zendikar block allowed unfortunately. I would so run duress if I could though :/
Oh ya, like that one card "Spider Spawning" put a 1/2 spider with reach on the field for each critter in your grave. So good
It's not nearly as effective as it will be. But putting that aside, it has its uses, like, turn 2 Viridian Emissary, following turn i throw down smallpox. Thing is supposed to keep you ahead, even if it's by just a wee bit ya know.
To my knowledge, I cant think of any that would be more effective at the mana excel I want. Birds was reprinted so hey it works.
