This vintage mono black deck is heavily based on turn 1 or turn 2 Juzam Djinn (My favorite creature) or any and every nostalgic 5/5 Beat-Stick that tried to fill his shoes. Creature Removal (Diabolic Edict & Go For The Throat) to clear the board of threats or primarily to win the game by destroying or sac'ing that Abyssal Persecutor. Fetch cards (Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Intent & Vampiric Tutor) to get whatever you need to make things happen fast, or faster. Life gain (Elixir of Immortality, Life Chisel Soul Net & Zuran Orb) for the damage you receive (Ancient Tomb, Mana Crypt, Grinning Demon, Juzam, Plague Sliver, Mana Crypt, Phyrexian Scuta, & Vampiric Tutor). Mana Ramp (Ancient Tomb, Dark Ritual, Jet Medallion, Lake of the Dead, Mana Crypt, & Sol Ring) to iron cast those 5/5's on either turn 1 or turn 2 at the latest. Sub. x1 Jet Medallion for "Mana Crypt" Also... Would you guys call this deck a Creature-Based, Fun, Stompy, or Theme Based Deck? I tend to think its a "Stompy" deck considering the deck name "The Beat-Stick"
