A deck that focuses on wearing down an opponent over time and utilizing that pain to gain your own advantage. with cards like suture priest and norn's annex, one can sap an opponent's life down for doing mundane things. things start to ramp up if you get exquisite blood, as every time the opponent loses life you gain life. Use that life gain to justify Maralen's measly 3 life cost and look through your library for any card you miss. With an Aven Mindcensor on the field as well, the opponent can't even utilize the ability of Maralen quite like you can.

I like this whole "bleed" thing. Seems like it could work. Never heard of Norn, seems incredibly good against a non-white deck, especially something like a Krenko deck.

Yeah it really is, usually they go for the loss of life but the thing I love about bleed is that you can make it so cost inefficient.
