If you remove too much land, then yes. I am saying maybe cutting down a couple lands won't hurt.
If I were you I may add the spirit mantles and get rid of some of the land. You have a lot of land for your highest cost card to be a 3 cost.

I have no idea how this would work either. He can't produce anything but the islands he added to the deck.

I am going to add a Sylvan Primordial that I got at the prerelease of Gatecrash today but the system doesn't recognize the card yet.

Removed 1 index and 1 chronic flooding and added 1 Jace, Memory Adept and 1 Sands of Delirium.
Looks fun to play because of how fast it can run. Boosting small creatures with different abilities seems fun.
Love this deck. Looks really strong for a basic Golgari deck. It's all about counters and scavenging and you definitely take advantage of that. Nice work.
I like this deck a lot, but wow are most of the cards expensive. Probably one of the most expensive decks to build I have seen.
Mill decks are generally pretty fast and control the game well. I am not a fan or Archaeomancer myself because as a 4 cost, you could use other cards to control the game quicker. Maybe some thought scours as a 1 cost quick mill card. I also like the idea of ponder or another card to help control your draws. I like any mill deck though. Good work!
I like the idea of using Elixir of Immortality to reshuffle your spells into your library. I used to use them as well before I replaced them with Psychic Spiral. It will reshuffle your graveyard while continuing your milling process.
