I've considered Obzedat's Aid, but am unsure of what I would take out. I lowered GS to 2 instead of 3, so I haven't been milling Whip hardly ever (the main reason I want Obzedat's Aid is to grab Whip if milled). Any other suggestions?

Friend.. do you know what post rotation means? I've tried to include it in every one of my comments here. In October, all Innistrad block cards will be illegal in Standard. The only sets that will be legal are RtR, GC, DGM, and M14. Then Theros will come next. Since both Snapcaster and Resto Angel will be from a previous set, it will be illegal post rotation, and therefore will be unplayable in Standard.

Actually...yes. It would make it unplayable after rotation, as my comment said

The deck is meant to be playable as is, after rotation

Thanks! I really needed the encouragement to actually put this together and try it out

Added Stromkirk and Primordial. So burn damage and now 2 creatures for win condition.

I like this, but make sure to change ornithopter to thopter assembly. I think that was an unintentional mistake, but the deck is pretty pointless without it.

I'm interested in why you suggest Ruinator and Dread Return? I understand the counter spells, as that is a weakness of the deck. My sideboard sort of makes up for the lack of counter spells. But both Ruinator and Dread Return would cripple me. 3 creatures exiled is a big deal in this deck, and just for a strong flyer? Spider Spawning takes care of flying defense for me. As for Dread Return, it's not often that I want to bring a creature back from the graveyard, and if so (Lab. Maniac, for instance), I have Memory's Journey with a cheap flashback.

If you can explain these additions though, I am absolutely up for changing anything.

Nice deck! I've always liked treefolk decks, and for the cost, this one is great. Maybe add in Coat of Arms, just for the extra benefit, but otherwise, I like it!

Could you check out my Standard-legal graveyard deck? http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=406448
