Affordable, Landless, Affinity

Main Deck (64 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

A completely manaless deck, hits fast and hard, but doesn't have the greatest staying power.

Take advantage of your turn 1-3 advantage, and use your creatures and artifacts to bully your opponent into an early submission.

How to Play

Start the game dropping all 0 cost creatures, as well as anything you can afford through the affinity cost. Turn 1 often results in a few memnites, omnitopters and a frogmite or two, as well as a scale or tooth of chiss-goria.

Turn 2-3 allow you to play myr enforcer's.

I tend to wait until my shield sphere's are low on toughness before i sack them to make my Salvage Titan, although if the opportunity arises to play them sooner and dish out damage, there's no need to hesitate.

Be sure to pump any unblocked creatures with the tooth of chiss-goria, and any blocked creatures with the scale. Mutegenic growth is great for sneaking in a few points of bonus damage, or baiting one of their creatures to attack and die.

Overall, I love this deck.

Deck discussion for Affordable, Landless, Affinity

Just one problem, not enough cards to be legal in any type. Even kitchen table magic players play 60 cards minimum. The only way 40 cards is allowed is in a draft style tournament. I nice idea but needs work.

Our kitchen table rules have been 40+ but I've updated the deck to get it up to par. Hits a little softer now, but makes the cut.

Thanks for the feedback!

This is a pretty neat deck,One of my friends runs something like it, pretty much in the same way and he hit pretty hard, though he doesn't have 0 lands, he has 4 I think

He pretty much said the deck was solid you just needed a few more back up plans, just in-case artifacts get destroyed. I guess that means you should add some land though that would defeat the purpose so I dont agree

darksteel is indestructable but other wise it just sits there doing nothing, so why not something that doesnt cost anything but does something?

all low cost (at low end)

-dark sphere
-gusthas scepter
- tons of mana thing (wouldnt fit)

Lotus petal to make things happen a little quicker without the cost of Mox opal. Sideboard cards - Cursed Totem -you have no activated creature abilities, Wand of Denial - may help against combo, Thrane turbine - if you ever need mana for equipment costs, and Ashnod's Altar - mana - probably not needed at present.

Great tips, good ideas on alternate mana costs. Definitely going to play around with these.

Thanks!

Marvelous =D I'm a sorry sucker for landless decks, heh, and this is no exception. Have you thought of 'Gitaxian Probe' for a little control and sorcery draw speed? I'd remove Darksteel Relic and Frogmite =)
