Have you considered Soraya, The Falconeer? It's basically an Honor of the Pure that can attack, with an extra (albiet usually useless) second ability.

Yes, the main mechanic is all creature having the two types: Bird, Soldier. So when Aven Brigadier is played they all get +2/+2.
