Deck discussion for Eclectic medleys

// I looked over both lists, and I must say that while the previous (i.e., public) list would, indeed, likely gain from a secondary Tar Pit, this list is fine with just one.

// Personally I dislike running 4 Wastelands, but I believe we have been over that before.

// Flusterstorm, to me, is almost always just a sideboard option. I would replace it with a third Spell Pierce to round out your package.

// I am going to assume the reason behind the single copies of Gatekeeper and Fleshbag is to test out the viability of each one. While Fleshbag is, indeed, easier to cast with the land base, Gatekeeper offers staying power. It would be interesting to see which one works better for you. I must admit I have a bias towards Fleshbag. It is, I must say, one of my favorite zombies and I like to think of myself as a connoisseur of zombies.

// I would drop down to two Bobs. I haven't a single reason for this, it just 'feels' right.

Well I believe that covers everything. If you have any additional queires, feel free to ask. Now, if you don't mind me asking a favor, I recently posted an old deck of mine and would like to see your opinion on it. It's called "Griefer's Wet Dream". Thank you.

It was originally running two Bobs, and both Tar Pits, but I actually found replacing the second tar pit in here with a third Bob was much better for consistency.

We have had the discussion one or two times, and each time, if I recall correctly, has ended with us saying to each their own.

Flusterstorm would be objectively better suited by Spell Pierce in game one. I use it because I know too many Storm players, if I'm entering an unknown meta I do use three copies of Spell Pierce.

The idea /was/ originally testing which would be more viable, but same as in TNE I really like both of them equally... Gatekeeper stays more often, Fleshbag Marauder is easier to cast. I'm unable to decide if I must be honest.

Bob was bumped to three because I really couldn't decide what to put there. One thing I've considered is the fourth copy of StP, but I just don't know. Perhaps an additional cantrip, probably Ponder if so.

Thank you Artemis, you've given me a lot to think about for this project. And of course I would be delighted to give my opinion on it, it's an interesting name, and I know I'll be looking at something quite deserving of it.

As nice as this deck looks, i'm not sure there is any good reason for NOT playing Deathrite Shaman, Stoneforge, and True Name Nemesis . As screwed up as it is, those cards are just soooooo good, that any tempo/ midrange deck in it's colors is essential irrelevant now.

I mean this deck looks sweet, and your disruption package is nasty, but true Name is just too good. You need to seriously load up on Zealous Persecution or i'm not so sure this deck will do much against the other Tempo/ Midrange decks that ARE running True Name.

Fleshbag effects may be able to keep True Name in check but i don't think that's enough.

It's sad, but basically you either have to play True Name, or play a deck that doesn't care about it(Combo)

There's another deck I'm working on that I think you'd enjoy more than this, I'll post it when I finally get it situated properly. This one is me being a bit of a fogy, and disregarding a super beatstick for utility.

Zealous Persecution... That's freaking perfect!

Fleshbag, and co. aren't where this stops. I'm going to be putting at least two copies of Zealous Persecution(how I forgot that card is beyond me) in the SB for now, and I have a landbase that can support Edict effects quite nicely if need be.

TNN and I are honestly on shaky terms. Then again, my main deck right now is Doomsday :P

My main deck is currently DDFT as well. I just can't get enough. Plus i'm finally sort of comfortable with it, so playing it feels so smooth now. Rarely do i have to tank on a pile, they just feel intuitive and natural now. Doomsday is so sick! haha!

But yeah, this deck has so much disruption and it's so varied. As much as i ramble about TNN being a beast(cuz he is!!) this deck would absolutely not be fun to play against. I think the fact that it's a little "all over" is actually what makes this so scary. Every kind of disruption, and its everywhere. Even the creatures are providing some kind of Disruption or utility. Sweet deck for sure. True Name or not.

You gotta start playing cockatrice with me dude. You have so many wild decks.

It's soooo fun, and I'm back in the swing of it again, so likewise it feels smooth. It really affected how I play MtG, I wouldn't be nearly the player, or builder, I am if it wasn't for Doomsday.

The idea going into this one was balancing my preferred counter suite with my favorite disruption package. The variation was natural, and despite as crazy as it looks, it's actually quite unified by these two ideas. I'm glad you think what you do about it, this is one of three projects I'm doing for MtG lately, and I can't deny that it feels good knowing /you/ think it'd be painful to go against!

I do... I keep meaning to download woogerworks(or whatever it was), or something! I kind of gave up on MWS, because I can't get somebody to complete a game with most of the decks I like to play T_T

Everything you need is there.

If you scroll down it has a Download section on the right side where you can download the cockatrice client.
Everything else should be fairly easy to figure out. You gotta download it!! aha

I'm still trying to get used to that, but I'm sort of getting the hang of it. When I get my shortcuts memorized I should be ready to start trying it with other Vaulters ^-^

Also, I mentioned before a Maverick from hell, and I thought you might like to see what has become the go-to list for people I know for it...
