Tortured Existence is one of my favorite black cards, and honestly one of my favorite cards period. It's such a classic "black" card. I love the splash in this, just goes to show that even TNE can be made better by going Orzhov =PThe fact that it abuses Maverick kinda puts a cherry on the whole thing too =D...Wonder how Tortured Existence would do in certain EDH decks...

I think I'd even go so far as to say Tortured Existence is up there with The Abyss in terms of being a classic black card. One trades life for life, the other condemns all to pain.The splash has kind of breathed new life into this deck for me, I made it Orzhov originally just out of curiosity, but now think I'd be unable to go back!I know right?
