Classic Mirrodin Equipment Lifegain. This was the deck I played in high school against my friends. I loved this deck the most out of what I used to play. It's a distinct Johnny deck with creature+equipment combos that work wonders like Leonin Den-Guard and Vulshok Gauntlets or Slith Ascendant and the Fireshrieker. The control aspect would often lead my friends to long strings of colorful words and the combination of chump blocking life gaining creatures with an Angel's Feather on the field guaranteed I'd live to make them hurt. Best combo ever is unleashing a Blessed Reversal against 5 attackers, gaining 15 life, then discarding the rest of my full hand when playing Vengeful Dreams to clear their field and leave my little guys intact. Decimation for only 4 mana. And while that full potential happened only rarely, that two card combo would often go off much to my opponent's dismay. Even against 3 creatures it's demoralizing.
