Deck discussion for Naya Big Bastards

I may be wrong, but I thought that Highlander decks ran only one-of's (with the exception of lands).

Of course! You're absolutely right! It was a highlander when I started it, but it isn't anymore....I edited the title...but do you have some advice on this deck maybe?

Haha, the new name is absolutely epic. Thumbs up.

Your deck looks really well built. On the other hand, some of your card choices seem a bit odd. Although spells like Mighty Emergence & Paleoloth can be useful in certain situations, there are better options. Focus on keeping your five-power creatures at four or less mana in total; Mycoid Shepherd, Rumbling Slum, and Cliffrunner Behemoth are prime examples of this.

Most of your mana accelerants are creatures, but I would recommend running spells like Fertile Ground, Trace of Abundance, Rampant Growth, etc. This is primarily because you can play Pyroclasm effects without hurting yourself. A well-timed Firesprout can be all you need for your Thoctars and Behemoths to launch a game-ending attack.

Otherwise, this Naya build looks excellent. Hope these suggestions help!

Thanks a lot!
I've been thinking about those very same options, but I have chosen to use naya charm to tap defending player's creatures so I can deal with loads of token-ish decks ( mirror-sigil sergeant-ish stuff ). And I use the Anima and the elvish piper to put creatures like paleoloth and godsire into play in a cheap fashion. But the trace of abundance is a great idea, i'll put it in my sideboard immediatly, i have 4 of them lying around here somewhere. Maybe I'll take 1 or two mighty emergence's out and replace them with the traces. Also, I can of course replace Paleoloth with something, because my creatures won't be going to the graveyard in the first place if i have a spearbreaker behemoth on the field!

i was on hipponoxs page and u said it was standard take out the akromas memorial its not. also i would run the spellbreaker as a sideboard cause if ur not agaist blue really its pretty much useless except as an attacker but other than that really it seems good also listen to azen fertile ground and rampant growths. also wall of reverance is an amazing card in any naya build gains tons of life saved my ass many times if u want u can check out my naya deck
