Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Inspired by Northy.

Not as solid as Northy's budget decks (that is why he rules in regards to anything Budge)...but it will work.

Try to nuke your opponent's creatures with burn spells until you can get out huge Beast and Dragons. Use stuff like Fiery Mantle and Outmaneuver to do major damage with your creatures.

Creature hate = Heat Ray, Crater Hellion, Fire Ants, Wild Fire.
Creature and Player hate = Arc Lightning, Steam Blast, Shivan Hellkite.

Wildfire sort of acts like a reset button. Same with Crater Hellion.

Hope you enjoy! This budget stuff isn't at easy as it looks!

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Urza's Saga - R

I think your deck would beat up mine...
All that mass destruction...

I doubt it. I haven't tested it yet, but i hope they would win about 50-50.

Yeah. That's what duel decks are about:
Two different decks that have some well-matched matches together.

I think mostly, with these two decks: your deck would win half the time because of the pure speed and stuff that disrupts my big creatures. I think this deck would win half the time because of nuking your creatures and getting through with my big creatures.

In theory, anyways.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I have been thinking about splicing your m15 deck with Shandalar Doom. I think it could work. And would be my first standard deck in like 12 years.

Will tell you if i get it made.

I enjoyed the deckathon!

Well, now I know that at least one person liked my deckathon... Guess that means it was worthwhile.

Thanks Jessie. For pretty much everything. You've supported me and my decks through all this shitstorm. I hope there could be more people like you. You rock.

Shitstorm? Please explain.
You mean your life at home? Friends left you when you went to work?

My version of your deck and Shandalar Doom.

Hope you like.
Any advice would rock.

A Budget deck.
I want to be considered, as you are the king of budget, one of the best Bounce deck designers.
Can you please go look at that one?
Any advice would be appreciated!
