Deck Description

Designed around Captain Sisay and Legendary Cards.

3 Legendary Artifact Cards.
12 Legendary Creatures.
9 Legendary Lands.
31 Cards that Pump up Legendary Cards.
26 Multicolored Cards.

===================================================================

Idea of deck is to use:

1. Captain Sisay and stuff like Quicksilver Amulet/Elvish Piper/Dragon Arch to get ANY CREATURE, regardless of casting cost, out on the board for 4 mana or less.

2. Team all of your Legendary Creatures with your Legendary pump up cards.

3. Use Tolsimir Wolfblood and Wilt-Leaf Liege to pump all 26 of your green/white creatures up either +2/+2 or +4/+4. Deck also has 5 cards that produce green/white creature tokens that will also get powered up.

How to Play

A) Captain Sisay + Dragon Arch = For 2 mana, each turn, put out ANY multicolored Legendary creature into play. Doesn't matter if the creature cost 10 mana or more.

B) Captain Sisay + Quicksilver Amulet = Same thing, but for 4 mana. put any Legend into play. Regardless of it's original casting cost.

C) Captain Sisay + Elvish Piper = For 1 single mana, put out any Legendary Creature into play. Progenitus, for 1 mana?! Sure, I'll take it.

D) Mangara of Corondor + Karakas = Exile a target opponent's permanent every turn.

E) Champion's Helm, Heroes' Podium, Konda's Banner, Sword of the Chosen, Day of Destiny, Vassal's Duty, Time of Need, Kitsune Healer, Loyal Retainers, Reki, the History of Kamigawa are all Artifacts/Enchantments/Creatures/Spells that help your Legends: draw cards, be protected, do major damage, search out cards, and overrun the board.

F) 9 Legendary Lands that interact with my 12 Legendary Creatures. The lands act as mana ramp, creature protection, land protection, and more.

G) Tolsimir Wolfblood + Wilt-Leaf Liege. Makes all 26 of your green/white creatures +2/+2 or +4/+4. Use Wolfblood and Liege to pump up (+2/+2 or +4/+4) all of the green/white token creatures that Godsire, Rhys the Redeemed, Tolsimir Wolfblood, and Mercy Killing produces.

H) Darksteel Ingot, Birds of Paradise, Alloy Myr, Copper Myr, Gold Myr, are alternative mana producers in case you nuke all lands with Armageddon.

I) Search engines and graveyard retrieval cards include: Loyal Retainers, Congregation at Dawn, Eldamri's Call, Enlightened Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Altar of Bone, Nature's Spiral, Regrowth, Replenish, Sylvan Tutor, and Time of Need. They all make sure you get what you need, and even if your opponent nukes it, you have cards to bring it back.

H) FINALLY, Bad boy creatures that Captain Sisay/Piper/Arch/Amulet brings into play:
Autochton Wurm
Chorus of the Conclave
Gabriel Angelfire
Krond the Dawn-Clad
Novablast Wurm
Oversoul of Dusk
Phantom Nishoba
Karametra, God of Harvests

Observation, all 13 of those creatures will get the +2/+2 or +4/+4 pump that Tolsimir Wolfblood or/and Wilt-Leaf Liege provide.

14/14, and 10/10, and 12/12, and 13/17 creatures will overwhelm your opponents...that is the plan, anyways.

This is only my second EDH deck.

Deck discussion for Captain Sisay EDH. Arch/Amulet

Help out. I know it needs card changes. But as I pointed out above, this is only my 2nd EDH deck.

Definitely will be making a regular, 60 card deck with Captain Sisay soon.

Any advice is welcomed.

You can only use cards that have the same color identity as your general's color identity. This means no Progenitus, Godsire, Rith, etc.

Only Green and White.

Crap. Blah. Lol.
This EDH is confusing. I started with a Captain deck...and just kept adding more and more and more cards...then thought, "hell, almost have 99 cards in here anyways, might as well make it a EDH deck.

I will amend it soon.

Might looking at this one?
Trying something new...a deck in progress.
Suggestions would rock!

Well, you want as many legends as you can. Gaddock Teeg is always a great bit of tech, and Elesh Norn is always great in EDH and she'll help with your tokens and such. Can't think of any others at the moment, I'll get back to ya =]

Hello! For commander, your deck has to be built around your Commander colors. Since Captain Sisay is your Commander, your colors have to be Green and White. Unfortunately, you can not have any other colors in your deck. so cards like Rith, the Awakener and Progenetus cannot be in the deck. This rule might also include lands as well, Misty Rainforest would be an example because you cannot search for an Island (I could be wrong on the ruling, but you never know)

For possible replacement cards, I recommend Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. Seedborn Muse. Mirari's wake. Dosan the Falling Leaf. Thalia Guardian of Thraben. Azuza, Lost but Seeking. Sun Titan. Tooth and Nail. Genesis Wave. And if you really want to you can throw in Eldrazi (Except for Emrakul, he is banned in General in Commander).

These are only possible suggestions for Captain Sisay. To put them in the deck is entirely up to you!
