The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

"My family protects all families."

Mother of Runes.
She's been around since 1999...so, old girl is probably a Grandma by now.

Very, very basic description is this:

Mother of Runes + Umbra Mystic + 28 Enchantments=
Creatures that are damn hard to kill.

Now pump up Eidolon of Countless Battles and Celestial Archon with the Enchantments/lifelink/double strike.

I am hoping, with support and suggestions, everyone will see why I think she is the best 1 drop/1 mana white creature in Magic.

How to Play

Here is what you need to go up and look at, in my deck:
Mother of Runes/Umbra Mystic
Ethereal Armor/Eidolon of Countless Battles
Serra's Sanctum

Now...consider all of those cards and add to that the fact that the deck has:
28 Enchantments.

Deck discussion for Mother Spiritdancer

Mistveil Plains can help you put graveyard enchantments back into your deck. Add in Enlightened Tutor and/or Idyllic Tutor to really help you fetch them back out.
Sun Titan would also be a good creature to add. Help you get your CMC cards back on the field and can be a good beatdown card.
If you do plan to keep in Academy Rector you will need a some way to sacrifice them. High Market is always a good card to add.
Aura of Silence is a good enchantment to help slow down your opponents and if they try to remove it from game you can just sacrifice it instead.

Lots of cards suggested. Let me look into them.
Play test the deck.
See what looks weak and what looks strong.

I did think about the Academy Rector...only way to kill him would be to block one of their creatures. That is a weakness, for sure. He rocks that you get to put any enchantment in play...but sucks if he never dies.

I have a cleric deck that uses him and I put in a sac engine to make sure that they die. Otherwise from my experience either nobody will attack you unless they can get around it or kill you that attack. Otherwise they will just exile it some other way.

From what I see you can replace Seal of Cleansing with Aura of Silence. Does the same thing but for 1 more white mana and an added bonus. I would most likely replace Celestial Archon with Sun Titan or now that I think about it you might be better off adding in Kor Spiritdancer (totally forgot about that card). That would give you more draw and another beefy creature with all the enchantments.

I did think about the Academy Rector...only way to kill him would be to block one of their creatures. That is a weakness, for sure. He rocks that you get to put any enchantment in play...but sucks if he never dies. I was thinking...if my opponent is scared to kill him off...then i can pump him up and keep attacking with him, though. So...not necessarily a bad thing if he doesn't die. But maybe he does need to go for something like a Tutor. Even doing that though...If i take out the Rector...that leaves me with only 17 creatures in my deck...only 13 creatures if you consider the 4 Mother of Runes are only used for Protection.

Only issue i have with Aura of Silence is this: If i take out Seal of Cleansing and replace it with Aura of Silence (which does rock, by the way) it leaves me at:
3 2cmc cards
12 3 cmc cards
That is a huge imbalance...and doesn't leave me much to play on Turn 2 (besides just 1 mana cards).

If i keep Umbra Mystic (still asking around about how it may work/not work with this deck: it's synergy) then I may take out the Steppe land and add in Mistveil Plains. I don't want to have 8 different lands that come into play tap because I am afraid it will slow me down.

Not feeling Sun Titan or High Market. Both are good cards. Just not digging them in this deck, for some reason.

I want to keep Celestial Archron because he combos with so many things: Serra's Sanctum, Eidolon, Ethereal Armor, and Umbra Mystic.

Kor Spiritdancer looks brutal in this deck, for sure!!
I need more 2 mana cards anyways. Plus have no draw engine in the deck.
May look into fitting her somewhere.

Thanks for the advice!!
If there is any decks I can help out with, just let me know!
