The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck discussion for Saproling Overrun

Its O.K, but I have a few ideas for a saproling deck. More +1/+1 and less dilly dally!

Green-White is better for saprolings! Ghazi-Glare is still an awesome deck!

You have a good deck here; but I have a few suggestions.

First of all, you should be running (as well as anyone else who runs saps) at LEAST 2 Doubling Seasons, they make a slowish saproling deck into a fastish one, and that usually means the game is in your favor. If you out-produce your opponent (as long as they don't have flying... *sigh*...) as soon as possible, then you should be completely set. Since you have Utopia Mycons, you should be able to get Doubling Season out by turn 3 quite often, and that's nothing to shake a stick at!

Also, while Dryad Arbor is a fun card (a land that's a permanent creature! Whoot!), I don't think that it has any use being put into any deck... it's just too easy to destroy and set your mana back a turn. On that same note, I don't think that Sprout Swarm has any place in a deck, either. Pretty, but worthless. I'd replace it with Sporoloth Ancient, which will help more in late-game.

So, if I may, here's what I suggest for now:
OUT:
4x Dryad Arbor
4x Sprout Swarm

IN:
3x Doubling Season
3x Sporoloth Ancient
1x Thallid Shell-Dweller
1x Overrun

Hope that helps!

i agree with the above poster, but i would say 4 doubling seasons they are god in this deck.
also mycoloth, HUGE saproling spawner, it is extremely good
in the new worldwake set try to get Omnath, locus of mana, it should prove to be very useful, very much so if you have life and limb out, which i also suggest getting.

check out my mono-green saproling deck
