well after all it is R/W and it does feature the battalion ability, and has 4 boros guildgates, hmmm. nah idk it might not be Boros.

Just a suggestion, have you considered Foundry Champion or Legion Loyalist? Champion deals damage to target creature or player equal to the number of creatures you control when he enters the battlefield.Legion Loyalist's battalion gives your creatures first strike and trample.
