Deck Description

Inspired by the Hyper-Budget (One Drop) deck by Sway located here:
http://www.mtgvault.com/sway/decks/hyper-budget-onedrop/

Tried a couple of different versions before settling on my own Boros design. It plays quite nicely, it seems. The nice part is because of the Akroan Crusaders, this deck can spit out more creatures at a faster rate, and can at least compete a little with other aggro decks.

It would also take nothing at all to swap out some cards for a full play set of Phalanx Leader to boost everything at once. I'm still considering that.

How to Play

Put out minimal land and start tossin' your 1 drops everywhere. Ideal starting hands are still as Sway mentioned. Either a Suntail Hawk and 2x Ethereal Armor for a turn 2 5/5 flyer with first strike, or a Favored Hoplite and 2x Ethereal Armor for a turn 2 7/8 first strike.

Get in your damage quick. The long game is bad for you, as a rule.

Wear//Tear (mainly Tear) since enchantments are becoming prevalent with the release of Born of the Gods.

Really, the whole Theros Block is just riddled with enchantments. This deck isn't designed to deal with them very well, but it's a good idea to have tear in there.
